I have been playing oboe for 14 years! I have studied under Linda Strommen during my undergraduate degree at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. I am fortunate to have been able to perform in various ensembles across the world, including winning a resident principal oboe of the Freiburger Studenten-Orchester for the 2014-2015 season. I am able to work on fundamental concepts such as technique and music theory, as well as develop a musical concept and improve the musical creativity. Together, we can improve your overall proficiency on your oboe, as well as prepare for any audition and ensemble you’re interested in! If interested, we can even arrange time to collaborate and just read through some duets together. Let’s begin this journey together!

Great reeds are vital for oboists and I can help with buying advice or learning to make your own reeds! I can also adjust your reeds or sell personalized reeds in person or via mail.

For students wishing to broaden their musical insights, I also can incorporate music theory and history into the lessons - subjects that I teach at the college level.

Experienced Music teacher of 8 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! Typically, I use a variety of method books to pick from to meet the needs of the students. I also have many tools available to use during lessons.
