He knows so much and is so enthusiastic and patient while teaching. He has a lot of experience and he is a warm-hearted person, definitely the kind of person you wanna spend your time with :-)
Maschine is not easy to learn but Heinrich tried to simplify topics into something easy to understand. He was open and flexible to my learning style and how I wanted to approach my lessons. That's the biggest benefit to private lessons with Heinrich!
I read the review by Cezanne about Heinrich not having enough interaction with students and that was not my experience. In fact, I felt sometimes I got too much time with him (sorry Heinrich, sometimes you talk a lot haha!). Don't get me wrong, the things he had to say were very valuable, I can just be too eager sometimes to move on from a topic so that's really on me and not Heinrich. Any time I had questions, I could text him and if it was too much to text back, he would call me right away.
Heinrich is also very chill and relaxed when it comes to working with you to find a good time to meet up for a lesson.

I'm Ahmad a very enthusiastic musician. I started out teaching myself guitar at the age of 12. I moved to the U.S. in 2001 and studied music for 15 years receiving my B.M. and M.M in music and audio production at San Francisco State University. I then moved to Los Angeles then studied and trained with John Mayer, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, George Lynch and many others. I have performed hundreds of concerts in the U.S. as well in Europe and the Middle East with Artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Guns N Roses, Michael Angelo Batio, Ratt, Sammy Hagar, Dokken and many others. I ranked #1 in the Slash Guitar Center competition. I was in the "list of top 5 guitar players ever" according to The Examiner, also picked as one of the best guitarists of 2013 and 2014 consecutively in the Rockwell UnScene magazine, and ranked 3rd in the Steve Vai Sam Ash Best in Shred competition.
I find a student's strengths and weaknesses using various ways to encourage each student. I am very patient, ...

In 6 months I've learned over two dozen chords, chord progression, strumming and playing in rhythm. I've learned my favorite songs from the Foo Fighters to Jenny Lewis. I definitely wouldn't be at this performance level without him. I've gone weeks without practicing and he would still be encouraging, adjusting his pedagogical approach so I can learn better or he would have suggestions for making my practice time more productive.
Ahmad has such enthusiasm for music and teaching and it shows in his playing (iTunes) and instruction. It's really inspiring as it's been a huge motivation for me to keep practicing to become confident enough to create my own music one day I think whether you are a beginner or more experienced, Ahmad has a good intuition of what a student needs to help them progress. The pacing for me is perfect, as I never feel like I have too little or too much to practice each week. Lessons are always light hearted but focused and educational. I'm always looking forward to the next one.

I was fortunate enough to record with a producer from Dark Horse studios in Nashville, TN who taught me everything he was doing in the recording process. Since then, I have put quite a bit of independent study and practice into recording on my own.
About Joe
I absolutely love teaching music! After over 20 years of teaching, performing, writing, and recording in all styles/genres, it continues to be a great adventure. It is a joy to pass this on to others...especially seeing my students that never touched the instrument going on to be very proficient

I've been teaching Music Recording and Production for over four years. For beginners, I utilize the software Audacity on PC and GarageBand for Mac to teach the basic underpinnings of a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). We learn how to record, play with a software instrument, mix, cut, splice, copy, paste, and use basic effects for recordings and productions.
For intermediate music recording and production students, I utilize Logic Pro X for Mac and Ableton Live for Mac and PC. We learn how to utilize MIDI instruments; edit and arrangement techniques, user-created key commands; automation; mixing; and creating a final mix for mastering.
For all students, we also learn how to use microphones for vocal and instrument recording. We'll learn sound damping, portable vocal booth utilization, and acoustics.
I'd love to help you begin your journey on music and audio engineering! I can't wait to get started.
