I am the owner of a Professional Class A Recording Studio, and have been working in & out of Studios for 40 years. My goal is to help you establish a strong foundation and understand of the Recording process. I want to help you have a clear perspective on how to think when you're approaching Recording, whether it's a Vocal, Guitar or even a Harmonica, it's a combination of experience, fore site & an overview of what you want that individual instrument to sound like, along with the Bigger picture of how the whole project will sound as a finished Product..It's important to understand the conditions you're working in, or under because that also can be a factor in the whole process as well.

In magnetic tape recording, the sound waves vibrate the microphone diaphragm and are converted into a varying electric current, which is then converted to a varying magnetic field by an electromagnet, which makes a representation of the sound as magnetized areas on a plastic tape with a magnetic coating on it.
