I look at the pursuit of musicianship as a holistic process. In the first lesson, we establish your goals to help me be a more efficient teacher for you. I find it deeply fulfilling to research new techniques that will benefit my students and teach from material that is grounded in voice science and pedagogy. A typical lesson will involve reinforcement of healthy technique, music theory study, refining repertoire, and creative exploration such as improvisation or songwriting. I urge all of my students to use mindfulness to deepen their joy of music and actively advocate that the study of music can lead to a more conscientious and emotionally intelligent society.

My background as a coloratura dramatic soprano, classical pianist, composer, general music educator, vocal health and wellness coach and my education equips me with knowledge for all skill levels, as well all singing/music styles.

I am an opera singer who has experience teaching multiple genres including pop, rock, jazz and classical. I create monthly plans for my students and teach them techniques to feel in control of their singing and confident.
