Hi I’m Chloe and I began my musical career singing with the Barrington Children’s Choir and eventually the Barrington Chamber Choir which gave me the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall, Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, Windy City Live and much more!

I graduated with a degree in music from Harper and during my time there I sang with the community and select choral ensembles. I also studied piano during my time there and was featured as a soloist for the Harper Flute ensemble, the Harper Guitar ensemble and the Harper Jazz Lab ensemble.

My studio is designed to be a safe and encouraging space for students to challenge themselves and explore individuality with their voices!

Chloe is one of the best teachers I have encountered relative to her knowledge, skills, understanding of how to train children and her desire to see her students excel. She is vested in her students. Thank you for the awesome job you do with my kids. I have seen remarkable progress in their singing since you started ( I can say that because I am also a classically trainer singer)

Chloe is amazing! I have taken music theory/ voice lessons from her for over a year now, and have learned so much! She helped me pass my choir class in school and advance in an after school choir. 100% recommend her skills! She definitely knows her stuff :)

I am an experienced, outgoing and FUN vocal teacher! I have been teaching for almost 10 years as a private vocal teacher and have 2 years experience teaching in a classroom setting. Uniqueness is amazing! Which is why I enjoy creating individualized lessons plans for my students, based on their learning style. Singing is so much fun, but it’s important to treat your instrument with care. During your lessons, I will teach you proper breathing technique, vocal placement, pitch matching, posture, how to transition from low to high (chest voice to head voice) and much more, all while having fun. My goal is to help you improve your singing, and further your love of music. Let’s get started!

As a voice instructor with over 20 years experience in the private studio, college environment, church ministry, high school chorus master teacher, and as a free-lance performer, I understand that each student requires tools and techniques unique to their needs to grow and improve. Focusing on the basics of breath control, efficient support, and healthy vocal production, my gift of hearing and assessing each student's strengths and weaknesses allows me to create lessons catered to each singer's specific needs.

With a Master of Music in vocal performance from Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University, an appreciation of various styles of music, and my personal investment in each individual singer, I am able to successfully share my knowledge of the vocal instrument and my love of music with my students. I am proud of my student success rate with many singers pursuing degrees in music at the collegiate level, winning competitions, earning roles in local and community ...

Although, I am an undergraduate student. I have been under the rigorous, and devout teaching of some of the finest vocal professors you could find in America. Although the school, where i am receiving my musical education is under the umbrella of a Seminary (Theological & Ministry focused Institute) our focus is not at all, diverted from a Classical and Baroque musical focus. Whether, it comes to technique, repertoire, or striving for excellence. One quote, from one of our voice faculty I will never forget; "you never stop learning as a singer, because your instrument is always changing"... That is what I want to clarify. I am not perfect at singing, but I have four years of higher education in music under my belt.

In choir, I carry the Bass 2 section. By my lonesome on stage I sing Baritone of course. If i were to give one word, of assurance to new singers or fellow singers in general. It would be, that we all fight stage fright. Even visiting professionals to our school confessed,

I have been teaching this subject for over 16 years. There is no specific curriculum as each student will come to lessons with their own unique skills, needs, and goals. Lessons are tailored to those specifics. It is not necessary to know how to read music at the first lesson for beginners. However, learning to read is required for subsequent lessons and will be a large focus for all non-readers. Music is not learned "by ear." A certain amount of theory will be a part of every lesson just as technique and repertoire. Concerning repertoire, it will be selected from the western classical rep based on the student's learning needs and with their input. The main emphasis on performance lessons, however, will be technique and reading. Students should come to the first lesson prepared to discuss their background & goals and the plan of their course of study.

"Our daughter Katie has been under the tutelage of Michelle and Robert for the past nine months. During this time, Katie’s vocal performance level has far exceeded anything we expected. Michelle and Robert have transformed Katie into a stage-ready performer. In doing so, they also prepared us for the arduous tasks of collegiate school selection, entrance requirements, specific audition techniques and audition music selection and preparation. Michelle and Robert also gave us general counseling on what to expect from music schools and
their staff. I felt this was as important as the vocal coaching as my wife and I had no previous experience with music education. We are extremely fortunate and eternally grateful for what Michelle and Robert have done for our daughter’s life. If you’re looking for the complete package in vocal performance coaching, you’ve found them!!!"
