I teach students how to sing with proper vocal technique, how to perform for an audience, and how to audition. If a student is interested in creating their own music, I also work with them on necessary songwriting skills they may need to know while starting their musical career.
My main goal is to help each student become the best version of themselves, discovering their potential and developing their technical and performance.
My style of teaching is to keep things fun so the students stay motivated and positive. I believe the best way to learn is to enjoy what you're doing. I give my students vocal exercises and skills that they can bring home and work on every day. My students are always progressing towards their goals and my commitment is to help students be the best they can be while having fun.

As a classically trained vocalist with undergraduate and masters degrees in vocal performance, I have well grounded classical training and am well-acquainted with classical repertoire. I hope to create well-rounded musicians who, in addition to being great singers, have knowledge in music theory and general musicianship.

My teaching philosophy is that students learn best when they are having fun! All lessons are designed with each individual student's goals and interests in mind, so if an approach isn't working, we switch things up. With 12+ years of experience teaching students age 3 to adult through a variety of methods, I can find something that works for the casual learner and AP/college prep student alike.

I love what I do! Teaching philosophy: everyone is born with a voice and has the ability to learn to sing regardless of age. Students at all levels including adult beginners welcome. Vocal range, control & tone quality will improve learning correct technique and safeguarding the instrument through correct care/use. I work with Regional/All State, college and professional auditions. I work with commercial musicians in many styles to improve their vocals.
