I began my training as a classical singer in high school, and I have spent the past decade training to be the best musician and classical singer as I possibly can be. I am a firm believer that a classical technique should be the basis of any kind of vocal training, whether or not a student's goals include singing classical music, because it is the healthiest, safest and most effective way of singing. With my experience as a singer and a vocal student and my knowledge of opera and art song, I absolutely love teaching classical voice!

About Delaney

Hi! I am a conservatory trained classical singer who has been performing professionally for nine years and teaching privately for six. I'm very comfortable teaching a wide variety of genres and tailor my teaching style entirely to a student's level of experience, goals, voice type, age and musical

Lane was an amazing instructor. She is easy to talk to, and listens to the student. I learned so much during my time with her. I was very disappointed when she had to leave the school. Lane is extremely knowledgable, and makes learning fun. I hope our singing paths cross again!

Rachel is the best teacher my daughter has ever had!
She is very talented, knowledgeable and happy to share! My daughter can't wait for the lessons and has learned a lot from her.

My daughter dreams of being a professional actor/singer, and Rachel is both the best teacher and role model we could hope for! Rachel helps her with her vocal technique, helps her choose songs that are age appropriate but that enable her to expand her repertoire, and I am absolutely amazed at how much she has learned about acting and character/script analysis. My daughter eagerly does her "Rachel homework" each week :) Rachel also gives her great advice about auditioning, college, and the industry in general. She is truly a wealth of knowledge and talent! We were fortunate to see Rachel perform as Christine Daae in a performance of Phantom of the Opera (my daughter's favorite musical and dream role), and we were absolutely floored by her performance! We are so grateful that our daughter has the opportunity to train with an incredibly talented, enthusiastic artist and teacher. Thank you, Rachel!

Literally couldn’t ask for a better instructor. Honestly, she has been so patient with me since I have anxiety and I’m pretty shy in front of others. She has been nothing but supportive and I really can’t thank her enough for anything.

Aisling is an amazing teacher! She is very motivating, patient and explains things very well. Within a few days I was comfortable enough to play and sing a whole song in my own and I am now able to pick up new songs a lot quicker. She has taught me some great basic techniques which I’m able to apply to many songs. Although our lessons started in-home, I am looking forward to continuing our lessons online and improving on my techniques even more. Thanks Aisling!
Eline
Aisling is a very supportive and enthusiastic teacher. She knows what she is talking about and one can easily tell how much she loves music. She does not hold back on giving compliments and she is almost happier about a succeeding piece than I was myself. She is very easy going which makes it easier to take instructions from her. The lessons were nice and relaxed; something you really want when learning how to play an instrument.
English is not my first language but she made it understandable. And during the lessons there was always room for some laughter and jokes.
I would definitely recommend Aisling as a teacher.
Mark Johnson
Aisling has been a delightful, dynamic, and polished professional from the start. We asked that she would come once (sometimes twice) a week to give lessons to my nephew who was living with us at the time. Jordan (our nephew) was 2 at the time. I believe it was very helpful and useful for us. Now, Jordan is back in India and is 4 years old. His comprehension of English and all of his locally-spoken languages is incredible. I'd highly recommend her services to everyone.

I hold two degrees in voice performance—a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree from Binghamton University, the State University of New York. Currently a tenured instructor teaching Chinese and singing classes at Binghamton University, I am an award-winning teacher and an active singer. I have given solo voice performances in more than 100 concerts across the U.S. and China, including a solo concert at the United Nations Headquarters. I have taught numerous voice students at the university and privately, and some have gone on to win international awards. I teach vocal technique and singing in both English and Chinese. My strength is making complicated singing techniques easy to understand and apply. I teach students how to sing comfortably and naturally in a relatively short period of time. My emphases include the following: how to use breath properly to support voice, how to open the mouth in a correct way when singing, why smiling while ...

"Elizabeth is a very nice and competent vocal trainer. She always encourages me to try new exercises that help me a lot to improve my singing skills. I also feel very comfortable taking classes with her, and I think that one of the basic things for me when it comes to learn how to sing, a nice atmosphere is necessary to grow faster. She is also helping me with my English pronunciation. I would definitely recommend her."

"Excellent Voice Teacher for My 8 Year Old Daughter

Kat has been an excellent voice instructor for my 8 year old daughter. She is kind and patient, yet has a buoyant energy that engages my daughter in a way the some teachers cannot. The techniques and skills she is imparting to my daughter are invaluable. I highly recommend Kat for anyone (of any age too!) looking for high quality voice lessons."

"Rachelle has been absolutely wonderful for my daughter as she's prepared for her college vocal audition. Within the small town she lives in, my daughter didn't have access to quality vocal instruction, so finding Rachelle was such a blessing. I was very skeptical at the thought of online lessons, but the quality of instruction and convenience is great. I had a good experience with customer service from takelessons.com too - I had an issue with receiving emails (on my end, not theirs) so I reached out to them to switch to a different email which they did immediately, and then they called me back to confirm I'd received everything I needed."

"I worked with Michelle for a little over 2 years. As an adult student, I was super nervous about singing in front of anyone - it took me this long to just sign up for lessons! She was patient with me and gave me lots of tools for dealing with my nerves and stage fright. Michelle helped me to choose songs that I not only wanted to sing but that matched my voice and range. I was hesitant about performing in a recital but Michelle pointed out that it was like training for a marathon - doing all the work but not performing just seemed silly. It wasn't perfect but it was definitely something I'm proud to have crossed off my bucket list."
