This is a whole new world for us as I don’t know anything about this industry so I really didn’t know how to begin to help my daughter pursue her passion
I read Mia’s bio and I knew immediately that she would be a perfect fit for my daughter
Lucky for us she was less than an hour away so I signed my daughter up for lessons not really sure what to expect
My daughter is a senior in high school and just loves acting. She was involved in the plays at school but she had no experience singing and wanted to try
Mia has the experience in musical theater and she is an excellent teacher. She is very patient and genuinely cares about her students
My daughter has grown so much in the short time that she has worked with Mia
She recently auditioned and was accepted to the college she was hoping to attend
Working with Mia gave her the skills and the confidence to be able to accomplish this goal
I can’t say enough about Mia!

Students who study with me learn a technique based on clear, focused vowels, with a ringing tone. I am able to teach art song in Latin, German, French, Italian, and English, as well as operatic and musical theater styles. I am interested especially that young singers begin on a good foundation with repertoire suitable for their voices. I help my students achieve goals such as placement in choirs and participation in vocal public performance.

My favorite aspect of tutoring having the ability to watch as my students improve their skills and gain confidence over time. It brings me great joy whenever I am able to turn a new student into an incredible singer with the ability to impress others with song. I believe that music can make a positive difference in anyone’s life, and that is why I love sharing music with others. Additionally, I always work to make learning music theory exciting and fun for my students. I do this by incorporating stories and humor into my music and by utilizing the styles of music that my students find the most interesting.
I offer competitive rates for my services, and I guarantee outstanding results. If you have any questions, or you would like to inquire about receiving singing lessons, please send me a message, and I will return it as soon as possible. Thanks, and have a great day!

About Stormie C.
CloseI truly love being a part of their journey furthering their love for music and helping others find their voice . Throughout my singing career I've been involved in state vocal completions, multiple choirs, musical theater, acapella groups, background singing and having a blast singing with live bands. I have been a vocal instructor for over four years and in that time have taught students ranging from 3-71years old. During my teaching career I've learned every voice is different and has the potential for great things and my job is to help my students discover it. I enjoy blending what I've learned while being a professional vocalist as well as using the tools I've gained in my music education.
About Stormie
Vocal lessons are about so much more than just learning to sing a scale correctly. When teaching I love to see my students gain self confidence, knowledge, passion and grow from where they started.
I enjoy all genres of music and love exploring many different vocal techniques to adapt to each genre and tune. My love for music stems from growing up in a musical family, my mother playing flute and my father being a vocalist and an actor. I started sing at 5 years old and began taking lessons myself at the age of 6 years old. Growing up I found that music has so many layers and while in college getting my degree in Social Science I also learned to compose music and work in sound design. Besides singing and teaching I also work for a music publishing company which keeps me update on the constant changing world of music.
