About Daniel
What style do you want to play? I love to play it all. I mean it. So whatever moves you, we can work with that. I've played orchestral to hip-hop fusion, religious ceremonies to wine festivals, in motown, salsa, and funk bands, and with a jazz trio in a literal cave. So--it's up to you!

*Lessons*
I can teach you all the basics in music (scales, intervals, basic melodies) so that they can be applied to any instrument you may pick up down the line.

Most of all, I'm happy to push you to be the best that you hope to be.

About the teacher:
I first picked up a trombone when I was 12, and have not put it down for the past 18 years. After being awarded an “Excellent Player” Award by the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society which led to the opportunity of performing with a professional Jazz Band, performing with a number of honor bands in middle and teaching at a music camp 3 summers of high school career. I decided to pursue music in College. I received a Bachelors of Music Classical Trombone Performance from California State University, San Jose. I’ve been performing professionally for 7 years and have played in every genre I could get my hands on (Classical, Jazz, Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, Musicals, Ska, Electronic).

Testimonial:
"Daniel has been teaching trombone to my teenage son. There are many aspects of his way of teaching that make him such an excellent teacher. First of of all, he is a true musician. He has an uncanny ability to share his passion for music before getting into teaching technicalities. He takes care of every musical aspect: musical knowledge, breath control, tone quality, tonguing, dynamics, and mutes. I highly recommend him. My only regret is that, since he left California, he will only be a treasure for New Yorkers...

I really like Daniel. His love for music is infectious. As a teacher, he's patient, crazy smart, and easy to be around. He's also a deep thinker, which makes him really good at using simple analogy to help me understand complex concepts. It's a fun way to learn. TBH I was very surprised to leave lessons not just having learned new ways of thinking about music, but also about myself, and how I can start moving out of my own way. I recommend Daniel without hesitation.

I have been using Ableton for over 5 years, with a lot of experience using it in live performances as well as composition/production. I personally love ableton, I think it is the best DAW out there and definitely the one I'm most familiar with. I used it for most of my Electronic Production & Design projects at Berklee. Additionally I taught kids ages 13-18 how to use Ableton at the West End House Boys & Girls Club in Allston, MA for 2-3 years. I currently teach music production to quite a few students at my home studio, doing in-home lessons, and teaching online - my current students range from teens to adults. Furthermore, I've had tracks which I have produced (in Ableton) selected by Berklee's Electronic Production & Design Dept. (EPD) to be played for internationally acclaimed sound designer/producer/composer Richard Devine, during his 2014 seminar at Berklee. I was also selected as a finalist for a remix competition at the 2nd International Csound Conference in 2013 (for another ...

Josh is always easy to be around and is able to form any lesson around what I wanted to do, as well as teach me loads of new ideas if I hadn’t planned anything. He has greatly helped improve my own production and give me insight into what professional producers do to set themselves apart. He’s great to work with and always in an uplifting mood.

Josh is an awesome teacher. He is patient and supportive and always comes up with ways to connect me to the concept he’s teaching. I asked to learn drums “the right way” so we spend a ton of time on fundamental exercises that i suspect are boring for him but he never shows it. He is always upbeat and positive and I enjoy our lessons a lot. Could not recommend him more highly.

My BA from the Berklee College of Music focused on using Ableton as an Industry Standard DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), and using it to produce music in a way that fits you and your style. Lessons on Ableton focus on how to use the program in all aspects, as both recording and production software.

About Eric
MUSIC!
I think music is the most beautiful thing in the world, so lets take time to learn and play music together.
I have been playing the drums for over sixteen years, and been in over fifteen bands in the course of that time. I have a degree in Music from the Berklee College of Music were I studied music theory and focused on Music Production and Engineering. I have been playing Piano, Bass, and Guitar for about ten years in addition to the drums, and have been recorded in sessions on each. I have a deep passion for synthesizers and electronic music, so lets make some bleeps and bloops together.

I am extremely kind, friendly, and funny so lessons with me are very relaxed and have an easy to learn environment. However I am very passionate about teaching to fit student needs; so if a student likes deadlines and homework, if that is w
hat will help them learn the best, then that is how I will teach.
Lets make some sweet music together!!
~Eric

I'm like you. I never liked sitting through lessons where they gave you nothing but fundamentals and made you learn genres you did not want to learn. I learn best when I'm learning how to produce and play music I like! Over the years I have worked in DAW and also all kind of electronic instruments, After using these multiple strategies to make music, I have found a workflow that make me have fun and engaging while still getting the fundamentals to succeed quickly. I change my teaching style to suit each of my students, and I honestly believe that it does not matter if you're five years old or 100 years old, learning music is possible and within your reach. Shoot me a message to see if we're a good match!

About Alessandro
"Provider of deep and infectious dance grooves and an environment of well-being".

This is how Alessandro describes himself as the same Producer & DJ. Without fear of going too deep, his emotional musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up in his father's eclectic rock combination (Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam), European electronica (Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream), also lucky boy married to his fabulous Juliet, who influenced him with the music of the 80s synthesized ( Depeche Mode, Gary Numan) ... Lover of computers by vocation ... everything that is infused with his own love for techno and video game music, Alessandro ended with a quite varied spectrum of musical influence.

Nowadays, this translates into sets in which all the pieces of this music that he loves are mixed and inserted: beautiful synthesizer works, ethereal backdr
ops, restless bass lines and occasional vocal hooks ... all in the top of a pronounced rhythm of house-foot-shuffling.

A very active member of his local community, Alessandro is no stranger to the ups and downs of the music scene of a small town. Although he loves playing in nightclubs, courtyards and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing melodies. As a producer, DJ, live mixer engineer, promoter and label owner, he has found many ways to express musically.

"For me, it's all about a state of mind and a deep and hypnotic rhythm ... playing the tracks that will hit your feet and nodding without the account, regardless of the gender, rhythm, style or date of launching. "

What I truly love about Ableton is that it offers anybody the opportunity to create music without any formal training. Like myself, you may not be a skilled concert pianist, or have the ability to shred guitar like Jimi Hendrix, but thats Ok! Thanks to Ableton anyone can music at the drop of a hat. I have been using Ableton for 8 years now, producing in the genres of Hip Hop, Trap, Indie Rock, Nu- Disco, Bass House, and many more. Unlike other DAWs, Ableton offers its user's the ability to experiment with limitless possibilities. Its ease of use and dedication to efficient performance make it a staple to any modern studio.

About Will
I believe that music production is something meant for everyone. From working with hip hop producers like Metro Boomin & Araaab Muzik, to recording a 20 piece orchestra, one thing they all have in common is an undeniable passion for sharing their story. It doesn't matter if you can't read music or shred the guitar (I can't either), with Ableton you can quite literally create anything you can imagine. If you're one of those people who is constantly singing in the shower, or humming melodies throughout the day, then the music is already in you, you just need an outlet like Ableton to get it out. I will show you the ins and outs of Ableton, and how to create full songs in a short amount of time.
