I believe classically trained singers have a unique ability to bring joy and inspiration to others, singing the great music of the past and present.

I teach each student according to their skill and talent, tailoring my methods to what you need to achieve your goal. You'll have my expert guidance and expertise that will save you years of wasted effort trying to fix your vocal and repertoire problems on your own. I work collaboratively with you choosing repertoire you love to sing, along with music that develops your vocal and performance range.

This will mean a mix of classical repertoire and standard Broadway, Pop and Jazz songs.

About Ahdda

For over 25 years, I've been training and empowering singers from beginners to professionals to find and keep their optimum voice and musical style. I believe that good opera training prepares you for a long and healthy singing life, and a voice that can sing in a variety of styles. As a holist

Ahdda has worked with my daughter for two years, and is an outstanding teacher. Ahdda focuses not only on how singing should sound, but on how your body should feel and what it should be doing when you sing. She explains this clearly, and the techniques she teaches result in a beautiful sound while ensuring that the singer's voice will remain healthy.
Yanqing
My past voice trainings have a rigid approach so I was following the instructions mechanically. I thought that this is the way to go--until I met Ms.Ahdda. Her "Voga" (voice yoga) focuses on sensations and helps me to trust that my body has the ability to create the right sound. I stopped analyzing the "why"s and am instead remembering the right feelings. My singing skills have improved so much, and I have only been working with Ms. Ahdda for 6 months!

Victoria was an amazing vocal coach. Even before the first lesson she had selections prepared and exercises ready for my voice and my needs. She was able to pinpoint some of my random technique flaws and correct them almost immediately. Truly helpful and I’m delighted to have worked with her. 10/10 would sing for her instruction again.

I have been taking lessons with Sammy for a month now. I am very green when it comes to singing and I am extremely self-conscious about my voice and had never really sung in front of anyone before. Sammy provided me with exactly what I was looking for, direct feedback. At the first lesson, he had me perform a vocal warm-up so that he could evaluate my instrument. We then discussed genres I like, and what goals I was trying to achieve. He then asked me to chose a song to sing and sing it. He identified things off the bat that I had not thought about and gave me exercises to help work on what we discussed. Week to week we built off of what we identified the previous week and I am seeing progress. He is good about explaining things if I don't understand the concept and he provides examples of what he is talking about. It's been a great experience and I highly recommend Sammy as an instructor.

Very happy to have Sammy instructing my 10yo daughter in singing. Sammy has a good rapport with children but still keeps the singing class moving at a challenging pace
He is very organized and punctual as well!

"I was searching for a new teacher who understood operatic music on a mastery level when I found Tania. Reading Tania’s bio and hearing her sing I knew she was the advanced teacher I was looking for.

My lessons have been incredible! She has provided an excellent routine to get the maximum out of my singing. I take 1 hour lessons filled with positive critiques, gentle reminders and just the right push to open up allowing my voice to shine.

Tania gets the maximum amount of breath, support, sound, flexibility and range regardless of your voice type. It is clear through her solid technical base that she understands your voice. She is defiantly a teacher for ALL voice types. No gimmicks. No nonsense!

Tania guides students to learn how important it is to have a foundation, which is the human body, for the art of singing. Her teaching is organic and insightful with techniques compiled from her past teachers and her own discoveries with singing and performing.

Whether you are a singer just starting out or an advance singer who is a vocal teacher like me, you will benefit leaps and bounds studying with Tania. She is absolutely fantastic!"

"Sarabeth really knows her stuff. Down to the specific mechanics of the voice, she was able to provide vocal exercises to help me reach my goals. Now I can properly work on extending my range on my own time.

She also helped me identify some problems with my breathing that I wasn't even aware of. Not only does she know a lot about classical voice technique, but she knows how to apply those principles to the male voice.

Definitely would recommend!"

"I highly recommend Sarabeth to anyone interested in singing, whether you have already had some background in voice or you are just starting out.

Sarabeth is a truly amazing voice teacher!!! She led me step by step through many vocal exercises and taught me many a great classical song! Her patience and encouragement were ever present at each lesson as I stumbled through the classical songs which were written in other languages.

I have SMA type 1-2, a severely debilitating and progressive disease, and my lung capacity was 24% of normal when Sarabeth started teaching me. Under her guidance, I was able to increase my lung capacity to 28%! Believe me when I say that this is not supposed to happen to people with SMA. In general our lung capacities continue to decrease as the disease progresses until we need to be placed under mechanical ventilation. The most common mode of death for people with SMA is respiratory failure.

I am deeply saddened that Sarabeth is moving away to Los Angeles and will no longer be able to be my singing teacher, but wishing her the best of luck there!!! I will always remember her as the incredibly wonderful teacher she is!"
