Victoria was an amazing vocal coach. Even before the first lesson she had selections prepared and exercises ready for my voice and my needs. She was able to pinpoint some of my random technique flaws and correct them almost immediately. Truly helpful and I’m delighted to have worked with her. 10/10 would sing for her instruction again.

Ahdda has worked with my daughter for two years, and is an outstanding teacher. Ahdda focuses not only on how singing should sound, but on how your body should feel and what it should be doing when you sing. She explains this clearly, and the techniques she teaches result in a beautiful sound while ensuring that the singer's voice will remain healthy.
Yanqing
My past voice trainings have a rigid approach so I was following the instructions mechanically. I thought that this is the way to go--until I met Ms.Ahdda. Her "Voga" (voice yoga) focuses on sensations and helps me to trust that my body has the ability to create the right sound. I stopped analyzing the "why"s and am instead remembering the right feelings. My singing skills have improved so much, and I have only been working with Ms. Ahdda for 6 months!

In my music studio, I make sure that there’s structured fun to learning your students’ instrument! I take the time to develop individual lesson plans for each student’s unique needs and learning abilities so that they will have the best environment to grow. I often will incorporate a holistic approach to learning music where we will also play games, make projects, and use alternate activities to keep learning music fresh. Sara is a great teacher, 5 stars plus many pluses. She can point out my problems quickly and let me practice efficiently. My accent got improved, and I recommend her to my friends who need the same help. Thank you Sara, you are my best friend too. Love you, sherry

Take lessons recommended me Sara Ann Butler because she is a great teacher. I’ve enjoyed taking lessons with her, and I am happy she has high expectations and material that was useful. I wanted to improve my speaking voice, and she was able to point out the places I could make improvements and gave me methods to improve.
To disagree with a previous review, i’ve never heard her use any anti-racist or political views. She doesn’t expect me to behave like her, and when she teaches she uses “I” and “I” is the student.
I am happy that I took vocal training from her.
Brandi
At this age , she is very hot headed. Her ego is longer than a mile. She is racist, doesnt like African-American and Asian students accent. She was making fun of ppls accents. In the begining i thought she may be trying to make a point but no. Jes thats all anger. The first, i m paying you money for this class. So just teach what you supposed to teach not your racist and politcal views. And after a few classes, I said i dont feel comfortable talking about the race religious views and the next thing she did was cancelled all my lessons without even letting me know. Now i have to restart from the begining from a new teacher and it takes a while for a new teacher to understand your accents problems. She wants her students behave like her age oh please, come on, if the student is young in her 20s or 30s you dont act or behave like her or him. They just started their lives but your almost have lived your life. She should not teach here.

"I am so excited about my voice lessons. I am a university trained classical singer with extensive operatic and art song experience who wanted to get back to singing after a long absence. I was looking for a teacher that could help me to navigate the changes in my voice due to the aging process and provide me with the tools to steady a vibrato that had gotten out of hand. Michelle and Robert are exactly what I needed. They have extensive and commanding knowledge of the voice and support mechanism and teach from the Italian “Bel Canto School” perspective. That is to say pure vowels, open throated but focused sound and a healthy, low laryngeal position. I am loving my voice again and it has only been 3 lessons. They are exceptional at finding the beauty in the individual voice and not requiring a “carbon copy” sound. One of the best things about my lessons is that they complement each other as teachers and find a number of ways to facilitate a natural and beautiful sound by articulating suggestions in many and varied ways. If the student is unable to reproduce the desired outcome by one method, they will find another way to achieve it. Not one minute of a lesson is wasted and each week brings quick and substantial progress. It has been a joy to work with them and I look forward to each lesson and the progress they bring. In short, I am thrilled."

Holly pushed me to improve my skills on a fast-paced track to study music in college, as I will begin this fall, while also being easygoing, nurturing, and a fantastic mentor. She is a knowledgeable teacher who knows how to quickly and thoroughly fix vocal issues. Anyone who studies with Holly is sure to not only learn more about the voice, but also develop a pure love for music!"

"I highly recommend Sarabeth to anyone interested in singing, whether you have already had some background in voice or you are just starting out.

Sarabeth is a truly amazing voice teacher!!! She led me step by step through many vocal exercises and taught me many a great classical song! Her patience and encouragement were ever present at each lesson as I stumbled through the classical songs which were written in other languages.

I have SMA type 1-2, a severely debilitating and progressive disease, and my lung capacity was 24% of normal when Sarabeth started teaching me. Under her guidance, I was able to increase my lung capacity to 28%! Believe me when I say that this is not supposed to happen to people with SMA. In general our lung capacities continue to decrease as the disease progresses until we need to be placed under mechanical ventilation. The most common mode of death for people with SMA is respiratory failure.

I am deeply saddened that Sarabeth is moving away to Los Angeles and will no longer be able to be my singing teacher, but wishing her the best of luck there!!! I will always remember her as the incredibly wonderful teacher she is!"
