Berklee College of Music student who majored in Electronic Music Production & Sound Design, as well as Music Business. I was also mentored by a platinum selling producer. I love helping others and giving back the knowledge I have in music. I grew up classically trained on the clarinet. I can help you take your career to the next level by understanding audio, mixing, production, mastering, and more.

About Jarod

I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music with a dual major in Electronic Music Production & Sound Design, as well as Music Business. My first session with Jarod was great! Lots of great information, very focused session, and great experience in a very well put together studio. Jarod was also very welcoming and open to conversing about personal manners that influence my music experience. Even after our first session, I feel much more confident in mixing practices which I had not before. Looking forward to our future meeting and I would highly recommend Jarod as an instructor for anyone looking to improve their knowledge and practices in regard to production and mixing/mastering!

I’ve worked with Jarod over the past few months, and I can unconditionally say that he’s the real deal. He has an excellent command of the entire music production process and how to navigate the music industry; not surprisingly he’s now a signed artist. Unlike a lot of instructors, Jarod is a naturally gifted mentor who actually takes time to figure out and plan out the best way forward. He is willing to share any insight and experience he has with his students. If you’re thinking about learning music production, Jarod is the perfect mentor to help you get to the next level.

Sweet, sweet Ableton. How I love you. You seem to be have become an extension of my musical brain. Having used a few DAWs over the years (I was mainly a Cubase guy) I finally got the chance to create on Ableton. Much to my elation, this was through a lifelong friend and Ableton wizard Aaron Lager of MSH TH CNTRLR. We began collaborating with him showing me his many tricks. We have since started our own project and I have logged beyond countless hours behind the Launchpad and Push. Session view is the main difference between Ableton and other DAWs. I will teach you from the basics of production up through using Ableton in live performance. Prepare for a life-changing musical experience!

About Thomas

I LOVE to teach and I am looking for a few more motivated students online and at my home studio on Merritt Island, Florida. Lessons are fun and motivating! Beginning students learn songs that they love while also learning basic theory and instrument technique. Advanced students will have their mind

Our son thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and he made a point to ask questions when he wasn't clear on instruction. I could tell this music composition was very complex (for his age) and Doug patiently worked through the questions and made really helpful recommendations.

Even if you've never touched Ableton before, I will get you creating right away :) As a self-produced synth-pop artist under the moniker mini bear, I have experience teaching at both beginner and advanced levels. Having taught one-on-one in various environments, including at Apple, I have the ability to translate seemingly difficult concepts into relatable information. I have a strong background in music theory, songwriting, and synthesis, and I will show you how you can best use Ableton as a creative tool to reach your artistic potential.

As a vocalist, synth-player, composer, and producer, I use my knowledge and experience in technology based professions to explore the relationship between music and tech. As a “synth-enthusiast” who uses analog synths in sound design , I have cultivated a vivid musical aesthetic under the mon

Lauren is the best. I had taken a few online tutorials in Ableton, but it wasn’t until I had help putting all the pieces together in person that it started to click.

She is friendly, patient and she has an incredible understanding of Ableton. Highly recommended and grateful for her lessons.

Are you struggling with music production? Do you want to take your music producing to the next level? Are you tired of your mixes sounding flat and boring?
Let me help you!
I have over 8 years of experience producing and performing with Ableton Live (currently using Live 10).
Last year, I graduated from Beat Lab Academy's 6-month certification program, which helped solidify my understanding of Ableton, music theory, mixing, mastering, and many other dimensions of music.
Aside from producing music, I play the drums, guitar, and piano; so if you are interested in learning any of those, I will be more than happy to teach you.
Together, we can cover the ins and out of composing, arranging, mixing, mastering, music theory, and whatever else you would like to learn.

I am a music producer, recordist, and pianist with my eyes set on the world. I have over 9 years of experience with Ableton Live! My major was Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts at San Francisco State University, with a focus in music production, sound design, and field recording. I atten

I have been using Ableton for over 5 years, with a lot of experience using it in live performances as well as composition/production. I personally love ableton, I think it is the best DAW out there and definitely the one I'm most familiar with. I used it for most of my Electronic Production & Design projects at Berklee. Additionally I taught kids ages 13-18 how to use Ableton at the West End House Boys & Girls Club in Allston, MA for 2-3 years. I currently teach music production to quite a few students at my home studio, doing in-home lessons, and teaching online - my current students range from teens to adults. Furthermore, I've had tracks which I have produced (in Ableton) selected by Berklee's Electronic Production & Design Dept. (EPD) to be played for internationally acclaimed sound designer/producer/composer Richard Devine, during his 2014 seminar at Berklee. I was also selected as a finalist for a remix competition at the 2nd International Csound Conference in 2013 (for another ...

Josh is always easy to be around and is able to form any lesson around what I wanted to do, as well as teach me loads of new ideas if I hadn’t planned anything. He has greatly helped improve my own production and give me insight into what professional producers do to set themselves apart. He’s great to work with and always in an uplifting mood.

Josh is an awesome teacher. He is patient and supportive and always comes up with ways to connect me to the concept he’s teaching. I asked to learn drums “the right way” so we spend a ton of time on fundamental exercises that i suspect are boring for him but he never shows it. He is always upbeat and positive and I enjoy our lessons a lot. Could not recommend him more highly.

"Always wanted to get into music production for the longest time, so I downloaded Ableton and decided to give it a go....and it looked like hieroglyphics to me. I tried to watch some youtube videos on the matter and it still made no sense. So I did some research and figured that an in-person teacher would probably be my best bet.

That's when I found Joey - and this guy knows his stuff. He's been producing for a few years now and after listening to his music, I could tell he was the real deal. I just started my lessons not long ago, but so far he's helped me in Ableton tremendously. I'm able to understand the various plug-ins, create new sounds when I get that creative "spark" instead of just bumbling around, and now I can actually finish a song.

I fully recommend Joey, he's super patient and has made this process just so much easier for me."

"Im learning from the best! Joseph is incredibly knowledgeable and has worked on a wide range of projects involving Abelton. His friendly and helpful personality makes him easy to learn from. He pays attention to how I learn best and implements that into the learning flow. His in-home studio is the perfect place for a quiet, one on one learning session. He even met me before the class started to discuss where I was at within the program. He really does go above and beyond in many ways! Thanks Joseph!"
