I have been a student of Tim’s for a little over a year now. I started playing guitar at age 52 and when I started with Tim I was very close to giving up or settling on just being able to strum a few chords. I have had many hand injuries in the past that have resulted in arthritis and lack of dexterity in my wrists and some of my fingers and I started doubting I would ever be able to progress in my ability to play. From the very first lesson where I told Tim about my hand issues and my frustrations, he told me he was sure we could work around any physical limitations I had, and he was right. Tim has been able to work with me on alternative ways to play the chords I was having trouble with and has shown me that these alternate techniques along with the bit of music theory he sprinkles into lessons can really expand my ability to play. In the time I have been studying with Tim, I have done more than I thought I ever could. I went from a frustrated beginner guitar player to having enough confidence to play on stage with some of Tim’s other students and I am now looking forward to what I will be able to do on the guitar instead of being frustrated with what I can’t do.
Tim is a talented and passionate musician as well as a knowledgeable and very relatable instructor which is a rare combination and he's also a really great guy and any student of any age or ability will benefit from studying with him.

Warren was my first and only private lesson teacher outside of a school program. I first started taking lessons with Warren back in 2012 when I was 12 years old. At this time I got my first guitar and had no prior music knowledge. After a few lessons, Warren taught me the very basic blues progression and made it very fun and interesting. My first few lessons is the reason I stuck with him for 6 years and kept returning weekly. Throughout those years Warren shaped me to become my own as a musician by teaching me how to play the instrument as a whole rather than songs (although we did go over plenty of essential songs). As I grew as a musician with more questions, Warren presented me with practices, theory, and other concepts to give me all the answers I was looking for. I highly recommend him as a teacher as he will work with you and be loyal to your musical journey. He was even generous enough to teach me some basic piano! I would not be as involved in music as I am now if I had any other teacher.

First he is formally trained and clearly has a strong theoretical music background. I played the Flute in high school and have not played music since. San is the director of music at the RV park my husband and I currently reside (snowbirds). The park has a band composed of residents and San is the director. I have enjoyed listening to the band play for the park residents so much and Sans offered classes to park residents so I have always wanted to learn guitar so I signed up for classes. San has made classes enjoyable and challenging. She always gives me something to strive for, gears the lessons to my knowledge/ability and keeps me interested and wanting to learn more. I highly recommend Sans as an instructor. She will not disappoint!

"I first got to talking with Zach back in 2015, I had been looking for an accomplished musician to play at my husbands birthday party. He did not disappoint! !
