I eat, sleep, and breathe music production! I'm an up and coming music producer who has had music featured on Spotify's Fresh Finds playlist as well as for films and television. Being a beginner in Ableton Live can be intimidating but I'll help you crush through any difficulty. I can customize our lessons to any style of music you want to make. Time to jam!!

I am brand new to music production and Scott broke everything down very easily for me. He also gave me great recommendations on starter kit equipment to purchase that was not too expensive.

I had a good time with Scott as my coach and first time playing on a drum set! I hope to continue more lessons and maybe do some studio work later.
He showed me basic techniques that I could understand and practice with music. I am happy that I met him.
Jeff
Scott is amazing! He helped teach me the basics of Ableton, over Skype. I was coming from Logic and needed a quick course. I learned how to have a faster workflow and tons of cool shortcuts! Also he is a very chill guy and easy to get along with. I highly recommend Scott if your looking to take your music production, and mixing/mastering skills to the next level.

The main goal of an Ableton class is to be able to effectively use all the tools that you are given to achieve your specific goal. Each student will have a different idea of what they want to create with this software, and its really important to be able to remove the technical obstacles and get straight to the creating. I will enable each student to be able to better visualize their projects, and I will train their ears to be able to better listen to sound such that they can understand the specifics behind creative decisions. As a producer you have to take both microscopic and macroscopic views when it comes to a piece of music, understanding how both a small sound can affect the progression of a story though music, and how the story itself unfolds over time. This can all be done through practical training in Ableton Live.

I am a professional pianist/keyboardist, songwriter, and recording artist. I graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Arts in Music & Technology and am pursuing my MFA as a Performer-Composer at CalArts in Valencia, CA. With my diverse background in both the technical

"Chris is nothing short of legendary in the music business. An Ableton Live aficionado, Chris has written hundreds of tracks and performed around the world as Cold Blank, and his experience shows! It takes a special kind of personality to succeed in the music industry, and one of the key facets is patience. Luckily, patience is what makes an amazing instructor as well.

Having sat in private 1-on-1 sessions with Chris, I can say that I learned more about the music industry and production process than I could ever have imagined! He is very deliberate and meticulous, and his perfectionism shows in his work. Having had Chris as a mentor and instructor has been an experience of a lifetime, and I cannot thank him enough for his time and effort. He is an absolute MUST if you're looking to learn to produce, hands down.
