I perform and write regularly using Ableton, which is an amazingly flexible program for editing and live performance. Get in touch if you want to learn how to add that electronic touch to your recordings or live performances using this the most accessible of audio editing & performance programs.

About Rachel
I love teaching and I love singing! I'm a listener, and love bringing a fun and creative tone to my lessons while teaching the highest level of healthy technique and style. My students are usually focused on a goal: singing for fun or meditative purposes, going for auditions or performances, and recording and touring at a professional level. They've appeared on multiple stages around the world, including as a finalist on The Voice (Ireland). I taught voice and performance for several years at a university in Europe, as well as in workshops with a lot of different community organisations.

I've studied the following voice and movement practices, too: Alexander Technique, Estill Voice Training, Speech Level Singing, Pop Vocals, Experimental Voice, Trigger Point Therapy, Yoga, Pilates, Contemporary Dance.

By taking lessons with me, no
t only are you contributing to your own music-making, but you're essentially becoming a patron for me as I travel around writing music for commissions and doing shows. I love teaching online because I get to share the excitement of all of this with you!

I’ve been taking singing lessons from Rachel for over a year now. All of my sessions have been online, and I’ve been super happy with my progress and her teaching style.

The classes are structured around my own interests (specific songs, breath control, body technique, etc.), and she’s always ready to answer questions. I don’t have any formal background in musical theory, but I’ve been able to still learn so much from her. I should also mention these classes have been a god-send for my public speaking (I don’t lose my voice anymore and can project easily now).

Rachel is easygoing and has been flexible with me and my schedule changes (you just have to give her some notice). I would definitely recommend her to anyone just starting out like I did—she’s experienced, knowledgeable and professional. :)

I love that she always gives me an option on what I do or don't want to do at the moment, but still pushes me to challenge myself. I get to sing the songs I like, and learn the things I need. It helps me stay an interested student. It's fun to train with her too, because Miss Austin knows how to lighten the mood but still keep me on track during lessons. I'd say that my voice's improvements in such a short time would have never happened without her.

I signed my 12yo up for voice lessons online with Rachel because a) I couldn't tolerate my child's 'singing' and b) our schedule is pretty crowded and we needed something flexible. My child has high functioning ASD and I honestly wasn't sure how well it would work as, up to this point, in-school/in-person music classes had failed to give her a sense of rhythm or even the ability to clap/chant/recite with a crowd. I am SO glad we went with Rachel's lessons!

I no longer cringe when my child offers to sing for me - in fact, it's enjoyable to listen to her now! My child now claps and sings in beat and with a crowd - something they weren't working towards but has clearly come from this work. It's worked really well for our crazy schedule too - Rachel is awesome about working with us and often sees our needs in advance (for instance just last week she asked to change the schedule so she could get another lesson in before my child auditioned for a musical theater slot - an audition she aced thanks to Rachel's work). We have gotten what we hoped for and more from Rachel's instruction!

I produced my newest EP on Ableton and am excited to share everything I've learned. I have read the entire manual, in addition to my own experimentation. I also have the added advantage of helping you understanding basic recording techniques, basic piano or music theory for electronic music, and composing & arranging. Let me know what your goals are, I'm excited to work with you!

About Kaia
Hi! My name is Kaia, I'm passionate about teaching students in the way that makes the most sense to them, & inspiring others to reach their potential. I am a singer-songwriter from Denver with a diverse background and years of teaching experience. I studied classical voice at CU Boulder 2008-2010, and songwriting & commercial music business at CU Denver 2010-2013. Teaching full-time since 2013, I LOVE helping students find their best natural sound and how to use their instrument. My strength is teaching fundamental basics in a way anyone can understand, using a variety of ways of thinking and learning. I encourage students to play & sing when they are interested and try composing their own songs. I've played classical piano 23 years, guitar 16 years, and taken voice lessons for 15 years (plus a degree). I also LOVE arranging & composing
and translating this to Ableton and electronic music! Let me know how I can help you!

My BA from the Berklee College of Music focused on using Ableton as an Industry Standard DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), and using it to produce music in a way that fits you and your style. Lessons on Ableton focus on how to use the program in all aspects, as both recording and production software.

About Eric
MUSIC!
I think music is the most beautiful thing in the world, so lets take time to learn and play music together.
I have been playing the drums for over sixteen years, and been in over fifteen bands in the course of that time. I have a degree in Music from the Berklee College of Music were I studied music theory and focused on Music Production and Engineering. I have been playing Piano, Bass, and Guitar for about ten years in addition to the drums, and have been recorded in sessions on each. I have a deep passion for synthesizers and electronic music, so lets make some bleeps and bloops together.

I am extremely kind, friendly, and funny so lessons with me are very relaxed and have an easy to learn environment. However I am very passionate about teaching to fit student needs; so if a student likes deadlines and homework, if that is w
hat will help them learn the best, then that is how I will teach.
Lets make some sweet music together!!
~Eric

Dan is a really insightful instructor. He really knows Ableton in-and-out with his eyes closed. He also has a good ear and is able to help you get the sound that you want. He gives really good feedback on projects that you might be working on. He is really well-versed in all aspects of music production - not only in sound design and mixing but also in songwriting and also can talk about difficult topics like inspiration and creativity in a unique way. If you're serious about music production, I would certainly recommend taking lessons with Dan.

I can help you take your career to the next level by understanding audio, mixing, production, mastering, and more.

About Jarod
I am about to graduate through Berklee College of Music with a dual major in Electronic Music Production & Sound Design, as well as Music Business. I specialize in contemporary production and engineering with an emphasis in making music that is practical and ready for radio. I can teach you all you need to know about audio engineering and production, as well as how to make your music relevant to the marketplace and heard. EDM music, hip-hop.rap, pop are my specialties, but I also can work outside of those genres. I have taught for about a year now before coming back to this site, so I am excit

What I truly love about Ableton is that it offers anybody the opportunity to create music without any formal training. Like myself, you may not be a skilled concert pianist, or have the ability to shred guitar like Jimi Hendrix, but thats Ok! Thanks to Ableton anyone can music at the drop of a hat. I have been using Ableton for 8 years now, producing in the genres of Hip Hop, Trap, Indie Rock, Nu- Disco, Bass House, and many more. Unlike other DAWs, Ableton offers its user's the ability to experiment with limitless possibilities. Its ease of use and dedication to efficient performance make it a staple to any modern studio.

About Will
I believe that music production is something meant for everyone. From working with hip hop producers like Metro Boomin & Araaab Muzik, to recording a 20 piece orchestra, one thing they all have in common is an undeniable passion for sharing their story. It doesn't matter if you can't read music or shred the guitar (I can't either), with Ableton you can quite literally create anything you can imagine. If you're one of those people who is constantly singing in the shower, or humming melodies throughout the day, then the music is already in you, you just need an outlet like Ableton to get it out. I will show you the ins and outs of Ableton, and how to create full songs in a short amount of time.
