I am brand new to music production and Scott broke everything down very easily for me. He also gave me great recommendations on starter kit equipment to purchase that was not too expensive.
Aidan
I had a good time with Scott as my coach and first time playing on a drum set! I hope to continue more lessons and maybe do some studio work later.
He showed me basic techniques that I could understand and practice with music. I am happy that I met him.
Jeff
Scott is amazing! He helped teach me the basics of Ableton, over Skype. I was coming from Logic and needed a quick course. I learned how to have a faster workflow and tons of cool shortcuts! Also he is a very chill guy and easy to get along with. I highly recommend Scott if your looking to take your music production, and mixing/mastering skills to the next level.

Kyle K has a unique teaching style. His Ableton Live knowledge has no bounds. In just five lessons he talked me through most of my usual brain-fog to help me understand, in the simplest terms, how to use Live to record music and use Midi to enhance your work. Super, Super man, Kyle is. I highly recommend Kyle if you need a teacher. John G.

My Ableton students should expect to work on developing their technical skills in the software to the point where the software does not get in the way of their expression. This is akin to developing your technique on an acoustic instrument. We will work on creating as many finished tracks as possible to make those skills happen quickly. All of this will include furthering the student's knowledge of music theory and compositional form, whether the student is a skilled acoustic musician just starting with Ableton, or a skilled Ableton user looking to develop their compositional technique.

All of my students will work on these foundations. From there, I work with my students to create a tangible system to organize their practice and goals so that we can work on more specific areas relevant to what they want out of their musical life. This system is extremely flexible and effective. I also encourage and assist my students to use this system in other areas of their lives, such as ...

Mateo is a person who wants and like to share their knowledge. Ableton is his tool, whatever you need to know how to do on ableton, he can help you because he is a man that know their tool (Ableton).
I learned from him all about sends and signal flow in Ableton: groups, post and pre fader sends, i/o.
If you take lessons with Mateo, you can learn how to use the Ableton's Instruments, effects and midi effects. How use it? when use it? and what are the best for specific tone, color or whatever.
VST, Plugins, Mixing, Mastering and many more if Mateo teach you.

Mateo was excellent at explaining Ableton! He can make himself understood very easily and also, he is always looking for improvement areas for us as students. I’d say that my favorite thing is that he transmits his passion for music which made his classes so much more enjoyable for me!
Huda
He taught me everything I know. He always made sure to give the piece of info in many ways to make sure I got it. He likes challenges and he works great under pressure. He is amazing. And efficient. He know what he is doing. He takes his time very serious but also knows how to make it fun for both of u. I stopped taking lessons till he came back. He literally is the reason why I get excited about making music. Love him so much too such a kind hearted person.

"Mark is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and friendly to work with. He has been helping me mix music in Ableton and I am very excited about what we have created. Mark is quite articulate about music which allows us to thoroughly examine the different sounds and elements in a song to better understand what we like and what could be improved upon. I recommend him as a teacher to students of all ability levels and am excited for us to continue working together."
