!!! I was so fortunate to become your student this summer during my holidays in LA, it was the best choice of a tutor I could have ever made, which did open the door to new knowledge and the way to the world of photography. Appreciate so much your tailoring those precious and exciting classes to my practical need in photography for marketing aimed at marketing business business. Your tips in both subtleties and grand scale of composition are priceless. As a beginning photographer I greatly admire your talent of an artist and genuine utmost desire and ability to teach people to see, value, grasp captivating beauty of this world! After your course success in my career just got a boost! "From the very first lesson I was so excited to learn from Brad. It boggles the mind how much there is to learn but he takes it slow and it is well unders
I am a highly organized, outcome-driven and motivated professional musician and educator with solid experience in the classroom. For the past 25 years, I have been employed with Amati music academy an
d seven years on the faculty of University of St Francis. I am very comfortable with all aspects of the current music syllabus, including teaching musical concepts (such as duration, pitch, dynamics, tone color, texture and structure) as well as performance, composition. I am fully qualified, with a Bachelor of Education in Music, Double Masters in music performance and education from University of Nottingham. I am proficient in classical, jazz and Celtic fiddle violin and possess solid skills in piano (grade 8-13) Royal conservatory system. Throughout my teaching career, I have been driven to help students achieve their very best. I strongly believe that music has the power to change lives – to enhance the social, cultural and spiritual lives of people, and serve as a profound medium of personal expression. Professional perform experience: The Chicago, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, Three tours with Moody Blues, YoYo Ma etc.... The most important thing I look for in a student is communication skills, as well as talent. I like to nurture students and help identify their individual strengths, which is a key factor in shaping a musical persona that will make its mark both on and offstage. I do not advocate a uniform technique for all students. Physical differences and learning styles are always taken into consideration. Potential is as important to me as early achievements and experience. My goal is to help students become self-sufficient, discriminating artists. I discuss practice techniques often and develop individualized scale routines. I encourage initiative and expressive musicality as well as precision. Above all, music needs to bring obvious joy to the student, regardless of the difficulties.”

I began teaching while studying in Art Institute. My first students were 5 to 7 yr. old kids. It was very challenging, but also very rewarding. I was teaching them skills, they were teaching me patien
ce. Later the age of my students grew, until I ended up teaching the same students I was in the same classes just 6 months ago. Again another challenge. I love challenges and even more I love helping others to overcome them. My philosophy about teaching is that everybody can learn, it is only the way how we learn is different for different people. Another very important thing - I strive to be creative, respectful and approachable.

Dovile was great! She arrived on time. I wanted to brush up on my skills on how to make a pattern from an old dress. She is an excellent instructor. She explained things very well. By the end of the 2 hours I had a made a pattern and cut it out. I felt we accomplished a lot without rushing. It was definitely a 5-star experience.

My 11 year old daughter had a great experience with Dovile. So nice and convenient for her to come to our home. Our first lesson was an assessment of how much my daughter knew about the machine, a general overview of how to use and conversations between the two to decide on what to make. Loved that Dovile gave homework each time(make a bobbin, cut the material for next week, etc.) My daughter made a denim purse and gained skills and confidence inputting out our machine. Thanks, Dovile!
Gette Levy is an art therapist currently seeking her master's in art therapy at School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has over 20 years of fiber arts experience and has been nationally exhibited
in theaters across the west cost. A published comic book artist, she works in a variety of mediums. She has extensive experience working with children and adults of all ages in a variety of educational, clinical and studio settings.
Artistically, she has sought to bring the worlds and cultures that have surrounded her together in explosions of color and juxtapositions of texture. Artistic expression breaks boundaries and defies media. Gette’s work can be found splashing across the stage, perched upon the page, blasted through comic books, woven in the fiber arts, breathing new life into up-cycled sustainable art installations, punctuating pop-up funnies, and clarifying educational notation in morphologically descriptive diagrams.
