I was trained at Yoga Haven in Scarsdale, New York with Betsy Kase, and earned a 200-hour certificate in Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation. I offer private yoga instruction at my home studio. My studio comes fully equipped with all yoga props, aromatherapy, and music. Hands-on-assists and personalized classes offered to deepen your experience.
My journey into the world of yoga began when I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a pervasive autoimmune disease characterized by pain in the body. Since then I have learned to use my practice to heal my physical body, calm my emotional body, and bring balance into my life. Yoga is a way to connect the mind and the body and to become aware of the spirit. Yoga has changed my life and I work to cater each class to meet the needs of the individual present.
I have more than seven years of experience as a Private Fitness Consultant, customizing my workout to the specific needs, goals and abilities of each individual client. I have taught group classes at The Ailey School, Dance New Amsterdam and Empire Fitness Advantage.

Pilates Fitness Fusion is a 60 minute body conditioning class that includes elements of Pilates, Yoga and other strengthening and stretching techniques. It is a well-rounded and diverse training program that is designed to improve the overall conditioning of the body by putting equal emphasis on upper and lower body strength, flexibility, body alignment and balance.

Hi. As an ERYT200, I offer foundations in understanding yoga. I blend Hatha, Vinyasa and mind/body awareness through practice and understnding of prana(life force) and asana(movement). I specialize in trauma, self-regulation, stress reduction, flexibility, and strength building.
Private yoga instruction will focus on body and breath awareness through restoration and deep tissue recovery while building inner awareness, vibrancy, stress reduction and release. Sessions focus on the dynamics and basics of core strength in combination with breath. Beginners to advanced yogis are welcome. Excellent opportunity for those seeking a yogic practice outside of the studio and classroom setting.
