I recently finished my 200 hour certification as a yogi and looking to be creative in my approach. I take a yin (gentle/effortless) approach during the integrative (beginning) and surrender (end) series while incorporating the yang (asanas/effort) during the bulk of my practice creating a balanced flow. I also enjoy incorporating music and meditation as part of my practice given my background as a music therapist.

My journey into the world of yoga began when I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a pervasive autoimmune disease characterized by pain in the body. Since then I have learned to use my practice to heal my physical body, calm my emotional body, and bring balance into my life. Pilates Fitness Fusion is a 60 minute body conditioning class that includes elements of Pilates, Yoga and other strengthening and stretching techniques. It is a well-rounded and diverse training program that is designed to improve the overall conditioning of the body by putting equal emphasis on upper and lower body strength, flexibility, body alignment and balance.
