I was trained at Yoga Haven in Scarsdale, New York with Betsy Kase, and earned a 200-hour certificate in Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation. I offer private yoga instruction at my home studio. My studio comes fully equipped with all yoga props, aromatherapy, and music. Hands-on-assists and personalized classes offered to deepen your experience.
My journey into the world of yoga began when I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a pervasive autoimmune disease characterized by pain in the body. Since then I have learned to use my practice to heal my physical body, calm my emotional body, and bring balance into my life. Yoga is a way to connect the mind and the body and to become aware of the spirit. Yoga has changed my life and I work to cater each class to meet the needs of the individual present.

My classes depend on your needs, we can work only with body practice or add some spiritual practice as meditation, singing mantras, pranayamas, yoga-nidra etc.
I focus on alignment making sure you are moving in and out of postures correctly as well as while you are in the posture. This prevents injury and will allow you to get the most benefit from the practice.
I also teach pranayama (breath work), philosphy (Niyamas, Yamas, etc.), meditation and inward focus.
