Hey Everyone! I’m Rob! I’m an instructor with over 12 years of teaching experience. I studied writing and received my B.A. at the University of Florida and received a Certificate with a concentration in Songwriting and Performance at Berklee School of Music in Boston. I remember so fondly learning guitar when I was younger. I sucked! But I loved it so much I played all the time. And in no time I was playing songs on the radio that I loved. As a teacher, I completely understand the learning curve and have tricks to help you out in those difficult times. Lessons with me are constructed from scratch and tailored to exactly what you want to learn. If you are training to get into a college program, or preparing for a show, or just looking to learn the instrument, I will bring the same ...
I've been teaching Music Performance for three years and have experience performing in several professional musicals. The curriculum I use is based on the wealth of music in my personal music library that is available for students to use. Students are also welcome to bring in their own sheet music. My teaching philosophy is content-based. I like to demonstrate the songs for students, and then let them fly with their own ideas.

Are you terrified of going onstage? Are you not able to hit notes the way you'd like? Do you perform differently when you are by yourself than when you are in front of others? You can do vocal exercises to strengthen your voice and try to perform as much as possible to get rid of your stage fright. Those methods might work! But when was the last time you took a moment to connect with yourself? The feeling of what its like to sing, the feeling of your voice vibrating inside your body? What about the song? Are you sharing a story, hoping others can relate? Is it believable? How can you connect with an audience if you are not connected to yourself? After studying with several different instructors, I realized that you can do the best drills and exercises, but without the ...
