About Natasha
My name is Natasha and I am a certified tutor in reading, math, writing, language and grammar just to name a few subjects. I enjoy helping and watching children gain confidence in areas that were once a challenge. I make learning fun and comprehensive, but most of all memorable. I promise you won't be disappointed.
I also enjoy giving acting lessons because it broadens your versatility and hones in on skills that are sometimes suppressed. Acting pushes you to think, perform, project, engage and entertain and I absolutely love it and you will too.

Thanks!!

About Yongmao
I'm a Ph. D chemist trained in a prestigious US university and have extensive experience in teaching and tutoring in high school sciences, freshman General Chemistry, sophomore Organic Chemistry, and advanced chemistry courses.

Through one-on-one and group tutoring, the subjects will be presented in a way that caught interest, clarified difficult topics and led student(s) through complex areas, and put knowledge into context so that its relevance was apparent.

As a chemistry educator, especially one who is tutoring at the high school and undergraduate levels, I will bring a lot of energ
y to my student(s). If I can't get excited about my subject, why should my student(s)? Another important element of my tutoring is encouraging reasoned thinking and rational problem solving, especially in developing logical arguments.

I must say Janalee is a phenomenal tutor. Her lesson plans are well structured and well thought out. Before studying under her tutelage , I was extremely nervous about taking my GRE. Not only did I pass my exam, I surpassed my own expectations.

Thank you Janalee, you played a pivotal role of my success !!!!

About Leonardo
Doing what I love: teaching, training, interacting with people. I retired from the army after 28 years of active and reserve military service, so now I have time to do privately what I did for the army for so many years: teach and train people. For many years I presented seminars in Spanish and English in Central and South America as well as the Caribbean on many subjects to adults of all ranks. I am a Florida State Certified Spanish teacher. My Bachelor's degree is in Political Science from the University of Puerto Rico, and I hold minors in History and French. I am (since 1993) a financi
al adviser (stock broker, RIA) and a licensed insurance agent, which is my other passion and area of expertise. This tutoring for me is not a job; it is a passion, just another way I do what I love - teaching, advising and interacting with people. If this sounds like what you want, hope to hear from you soon.

Lt. Colonel Rivera is the best instructor/tutor I have encountered in my four years of college grade academia. His mastery of finance and military history/philosophy has had a direct positive impact on my career path and education level that cannot be overstated. Lt. Colonel Rivera will be the wisest instructor you'll have the honor of learning under. He will turn your failing grades in mid semester to 90%+ final grades with the work ethic and educational adaptability found only in higher level military education. You -will- become a better human being just by conversing with him. His leadership has that impact upon everyone he encounters. With his educational tenacity and understanding of the material, your grades will improve and exceed your wildest expectations. I speak from experience as my failing grade in finance became a 91% and my other classes rose from 83s and 86s to 95s and 97s. You hire this tutor and you get not only that but a mentor and role model. Consider Lt. Colonel Rivera as a instructor if you're serious about your immediate and continued success in academics, life, and career choice.

The Secret to Becoming a More Interesting Person
We've talked a lot about the benefits of learning a new language. It can slow your brain's aging and even improve your memory... heck, you might even make more money if you're bilingual! But what if your motivation to pick up Spanish, Japanese, or another language isn't based on the brain boost? What if you just want to understand the sushi terms on your menu, order a round of German beer, or rattle off all the different kinds of French cheese? That's totally fine to admit. Sounds pretty
5 Science Tips for Those Struggling on the ACT
One of the big differences between the ACT and the SAT is the science section presented in the former. Nervous? Don't worry! Get ahead of the game with these ACT science practice tips from Merrick, NY tutor Justin L...   When I first started working with students who were preparing for the ACT, I was a little squeamish when tackling the science section. Not because of the content, but because the presentation of the material seemed almost foreign to me. As a math person, I was use

Read on as Tucson, AZ tutor Blake C. shares his strategies for solving the equations without pulling your hair out: For many students first beginning to work with exponential and logarithmic forms, the translation between them becomes an area of confusion. The thing to remember is that, essentially, both of these forms are ways of writing the same thing. LetÂ’s begin our discussion by looking at the exponential form a^x=y.
Thinking About Cramming for a Test? You Might Want to Read This
We've all felt that familiar time crunch when you have a big test coming up. But does cramming for a test the night before actually work? Read on as tutor Danh L. explains why you might want to plan ahead next time...   I expect my students to do about 30-60 minutes of homework DAILY. That's 3.5 to 7 hours of work a week. From my exchanges with other tutors, even ones charging up to $500/hour, this estimate is around what they expect, too. But what should you do if you miss a
