I was really pleased with my first session with Thomas. I signed up with Thomas because I wanted someone to help me develop a poem that I am working on. Thomas offered some very valuable feedback and ideas to strengthen my work. To find someone with so much experience as an educator, someone who has written several books, and someone who is passionate about what they do is really quite a gift. I would encourage anyone who is looking to become a better writer to consider Thomas. I am looking forward to my future sessions with him.

I have taught university courses side by side with Thomas, and I know him to be a thoroughgoing professional. He is meticulous and knowledgeable and always shows understanding and compassion to students of all ages and walks. Tom, as a person is a natural therapist. His lifestyle is healthy, conscientious, and he’s always searching for the best ways to deal with life's trials.

To know Tom is to be counseled by him, even if the counseling is not literal. My friend, Tom, is well trained and seeks the best resources to strengthen his professional teaching and counseling approach. I love dogs, and Tom's love of dogs, his having written a book about a favorite dog, speaks worlds about his humane character. I give Tom Watson the highest possible recommendation for counseling and teaching in any setting.

Kevin J.

Denver, CO

About Kevin

I truly enjoy teaching. I've taught in the public school classroom for 11 years. Teaching music is so so much FUN! And it should be fun for the students to learn. When I'm teaching I tell all my
students that if they don't enjoy and smile about something, then we need to change something.

I would love to start lessons with you soon.

Kenneth M.

Denver, CO

About Kenneth

Few things are more satisfying to me than seeing that "Ah-ha!" moment when a student understands something new. Being able to participate in that process of new understanding is a deeply motivational
factor in my teaching style. Having graduated high school with the recognition of the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award as well as the experiences of participating in All-City, All-state as well as several other regional honor bands, my passions for music has continued to grow at the university level, making the Dean's List at DU and holding a GPA of 3.89. Additionally, I've been a working professional in the Denver music scene since 2009, playing for various music theatre productions, weddings and venues.
My teaching specialties revolve around electric and acoustic bass performance as well as basic piano and guitar, music theory and ear training. Although I'm most certifiably educated in Music, I'm presently working towards a degree in Psychology as well.
