About Lisa
Motto: We Can Succeed Together!!!

Began tutoring in the summer of 2009 with accounting students to help them understand the principles of debits and credits and journal entries. I have worked with
children as young as 5 years old with learning how to tell time, count money.

I have my BS and Masters in Accounting and have been working in Accounting since 2007. I have a number of resources that I use to explain various concepts and provide examples. Math is a strong subject for me as I walk students through ways of solving a problem. I will explain it how it is done in the book and give a different perspective on solving the same problem.

I like to use flash cards to help with memorization. I also try to provide as many real-life business examples to help explain journal entries. I also like to test/quiz my students to see of they really are understanding the concepts.

I am one to build confidence, reassurance, and positive feedback. I want to make sure that you fully understand the concept(s) before moving on.

About Amanda
Hello!

Yoga and meditation have been in my life for ten years. After training and being certified with a Yoga Alliance school, I started teaching six years ago. I love teaching beginners and using
therapeutic modifications to safely engage with injuries.

Yoga is a practice that can offer many gifts. The movements and other practices, like mindful breathing and guided meditation, bring stress-relieving benefits, no matter what practice level or time commitment.

If you would like testimonials, please be in touch. I look forward to helping you on your journey with Yoga.

Amanda

ps. Here's the official bio:

She was honored to deepen it with alignment-focused teachers Sue Elkind and Naime Jezzeny and completed Anusara Yoga teacher training with them in 2008 (at Yogaphoria). I wanted someone to help me with alignment and to give me some poses for areas I was trying to open up. Amanda came prepped with a routine and gave me some great alignment tips that I am still using. She also sent me an email with the routine and instructions the next morning. She was very thoughtful and did a great job.

Incredibly helpful
Cindy was incredibly helpful, and really went "above and beyond" in every way. She's extremely knowledgeable and did a tremendous amount of research in order to supplement her work on this job. Saved me many, many hours of potential aggravation — I will definitely continue to rely on her for expertise with all things Lightroom/Photoshop/PostProduction for photography. Highly recommended!

Computer Challenged student gives her 5 stars plus!
Cindy was very patient and worked well with my low computer skill level. The class was very informative and fun. I believe we hit it off right away. I can't wait for my next class.
- Hope S., Snellville, GA

Very patient.
Cindy was able to untangle my Lightroom 6 update snarl with patience and humor. She has an excellent grip on the mechanics of Lightroom and communicates well. I recommend her highly.
- Elizabeth S., Middleton, MD

Excellent
Contacted Cindy a few months ago to help me to put together a slide show, clean up my photos, To say that I'm technically inept would be a compliment. At my age (you don't want to know) just about all these new programs give me the shakes. I was using a rather basic photo program and she recommend I take a look at Adobe Lightroom. I was notified that it would look a bit intimidating and was pretty aggressive. That was an understatement. Well, it's been a couple months now and I think the Adobe LR program is absolutely terrific. I've become quite proficient and the program is so inclusive that I'm sure, despite how far I've come along, it will always be able to do what I need with the help of Cindy. She has been very responsive, knowledgeable, organized and very patient. My lessons will be ongoing (every two weeks) and will build upon a strong foundation. Highly recommend Cindy.
- Tom K., Marietta, GA

I am a member of The Professional Photographers of America and KelbyOne (formerly the National Association of Photoshop Professionals) for continuing education. I'm certified as a professional photographer by Real Estate Photographers of America and International (REPAI).

About Eric
Hello, my name is Eric Akpan and I would like to become a tutor. I have decided to become a tutor because I want to help kids who struggle in the subjects that they find it challenging to pass a class
. I believe that when kids are in school, they should not always be struggling to pass the class. Instead, kids should be enjoying their time as kids and play around and have fun. I can teach any of the kids that are K-8 and my best subject is Math. The thing that I know the best is algebra and geometry. Right now, I am taking AP Cal AB. I do know how to tutor kids in other subjects but, Math is the one that I personally understand the most.
