I am capable of teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced students for the violin. As for the viola, cello, string bass, and piano, I offer lessons for beginner and intermediate students.
For beginner string students, I start with focusing on the Suzuki Method, along with material from the Essential Elements series. Beginner piano students will focus on repertoire from Alfred's Basic Piano Library. Further repertoire will vary for intermediate and advanced musicians.
For beginner students, I will provide a variety of suggestions when purchasing instruments. There will also be a list of repertoire provided for all levels.
I will provide lessons at my home, and am also willing to travel within 25 miles. Depending on the distance, fees will vary for traveling.
I expect my students to provide their own instruments and books. I also expect students to have a stand if the lesson is at their home, in the case that students travel to have lessons at my home, I will provide
I can help beginning students on viola learn the basics.
My primary instrument is violin but at the beginning level there are a lot of shared techniques between violin and viola. I also help out and play viola in the Colorado State University concert orchestra. I will work with students on building a strong foundation and once a student reaches the intermediate level I will transfer them to a full time viola teacher. This is because the repertoire is very different between the two instruments at the late intermediate level. If you or your child is a first time student looking for an affordable teacher that will give a strong foundation for the rest of your viola career, I'm the teacher for you!

- Victoria Voronyansky, Concert Violist & Educator
I am a classically trained violist and I love teaching all ages and exploring music together. I strive to create a fun and productive environment for my students, focusing on both both the technical and musical elements of playing. I have received a Master's and Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota and Eastman School of Music in Viola Performance, respectively. I've taught privately and to groups throughout the years and I am excited to bring my expertise to your lessons!
