I am able to teach the Operatic ("Classical") Voice up through the collegiate level.
I can give coaching and advice to more advanced persons; but my primary focus is towards beginning students and those who possible desire additional training but are already singing frequently.
Hello! My name is Hannah, and I would love to teach YOU! I am highly motivated, fun-loving, and exceptionally passionate about music-- even more so, having you develop a passion for it as well. I have performed all over the US and even Puerto Rico. With the many years I have studied my various instruments, and also performed with them, I am confident in the abilities I have now and those I continue to develop. I have a desire for everyone to have some musical knowledge, and an even greater wish for individuals to shift their knowledge into a love for whatever they choose to do musically. I can teach a variety of styles and enjoy the challenge of learning which ways to teach You best. Overall, I would call myself a "music dork." I love performing, learning, and teaching; and I do hope ...
*** Specialties *** I specialize in teaching what the student has a desire to learn and great technique combined with a lot of music theory.
My degree is in voice, and I studied under one of the leading male opera voices today.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from internationally recognized Baldwin-Wallace College. I have been playing and touring professionally for 9 years now with a band called Ward 9, and 4 years with a band called Dan Miraldi & The Albino Winos. I currently produce and run my own recording studio, and offer lessons as well. I am certified to teach all ages, any instrument, but focus mainly on bass, guitar, piano and vocals. *** Lesson Details *** When taking lessons with me, students can expect to move just a little faster than their perceived pace. I say this because students feel like they can accomplish A, but I know they are capable of more! They can expect to be held accountable to correct technique and gain a fundamental base of music theory as well. If they put ...

Proper vocal technique, breath support, diction, acting
Teaching Philosophy: It is my belief that everyone has an individual learning style, and therefore, not everyone can be taught in the same manner. I develop a curriculum based on my students' individual needs and strengths as opposed to developing a single curriculum to be used by every student. Younger students will receive general music lessons with less emphasis on singing to preserve vocal health. These lessons will include basic piano skills, rhythm, music reading, music theory, and aural training. Areas of Study: Students study technique, posture, breath control, musicianship, and vocal health. I also incorporate music theory, ear training, and sight reading into my lessons. In order to teach proper diction and vowel production, I use the International Phonetic ...
I have been teaching privately for the past 10 years. My specialties include classical and musical theater study along with preparing students for auditions. I emphasize posture and correct breathing as the foundation to being a healthy singer.
