About Matthew

Espanol (lee abajo):

In the nutshell, besides the best price and a perfect, clean record (in FL! lol), Kopi has toured Japan with over 21 years guitar/drum experience, teaching American and Japanese children in American and Japanese public schools; holding a Bachelors Degree, Kopi is multi-lingual and he even drives to you for lessons if needed. Uber flexible schedule, able to shift time slots for parents and students alike. It's a tough economy, so let's get your children (and/or YOU?!) playing at a rate you can exhale about, and with a teacher who is a scholar well beyond just music, a w
orld traveler, and an uncle himself (no kids of his own yet! ;-) Parent references available upon request.

Matthew is a laid back instructor who really knows what he is teaching. I am learning Jazz on the bass and I enjoy it very much. In just a short time i learned more with him than I did with my previous instructor . Would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn jazz.

Best instructor I had so far.

Matt definitely knows his stuff. I had 4 classes with him and I'm shocked at the things I've learn with him. Great schedule flexibility and makes you feel comfortable from the time you meet him. Has a great and spacious place to teach compared to other I had. Hes willing to help anytime with questions. I decided to keep him as instructor for now on. Thanks!

I think he was to scared to teach my daughter. I also think he needs a better place to teach, and he needs to make the classes more fun for kids. Our first lesson wasn't a good experience.

Francia R.

Tampa, FL

I can teach all levels of Spanish from kindergarten through adults. I have done this for more than twenty years.I have a wide experience helping students to succeed in with the Spanish language and culture. I encourage them to use the language most of the time using different types of strategies which are easy to put in practice. like: association, repetition, memorization etc.

About francia

Hi my name is Francia R. I am a Spanish, native speaker and have an overwhelming passion for this language and languages in general. I studied French and English in high school and in college. I worked in New Jersey with adults teaching English but last school year I taught Spanish in PK as well as in 3rd and 5th grades a school, and enjoy it immensely.
I constantly make sure that I expose students not only to the language but also to the cultures of the Spanish speaking world.
I am extremely reliable, courteous and energetic and love to have fun with my students. I aim to promote toleranc
e toward all cultures and beliefs. While classroom learning is the reason that school communities gather, I believe that strong school spirit, pride, and connectedness are the values that bond a community together. My recent experience at the school has helped me develop important skills that will aid me in my new work. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

First, I would like to begin by saying that Adriana was very flexible with my schedule. she asked what time worked for me and although she had a busy schedule, she worked with me giving times were convenient. On top of that I have to say she is a great teacher, she was very knowledgeable and had the skills I needed to learn my first painting skills. your money is worth, she does not waste time and goes right to the techniques. Thank you, I will be booking more classes :)
