Brandy C.

Saint Petersburg, FL

Experienced Spanish teacher of 6 years available for eager (and not-so-eager) students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while developing foundational skills in grammar.

About Brandy

Hi! I am a graduate of FSU with a Master's degree in Spanish and a Bachelor's in Spanish and English. So, I have plenty of experience with literature and paper writing in both languages. I also taught and tutored Spanish at FSU while completing my Master's. Much of my Master's work involved studying second language acquisition, so I am well educated in different approaches to language learning, and I am very concerned with and adept at finding the right approach for the individual child. I currently teach Spanish levels 2, Honors 3, and Honors 4 at Dixie Hollins High School, and I need tutor
ing jobs to support my teaching habit!

Brandy is the perfect tutor for my son's circumstances in school. She sets a great listening tone, calm, cool and collected in her approach. After the first session my son felt more confidence than he has the entire school year.
Wish we would have found her months ago...

First, I would like to begin by saying that Adriana was very flexible with my schedule. she asked what time worked for me and although she had a busy schedule, she worked with me giving times were convenient. On top of that I have to say she is a great teacher, she was very knowledgeable and had the skills I needed to learn my first painting skills. your money is worth, she does not waste time and goes right to the techniques. Thank you, I will be booking more classes :)

After only one lesson with Pablo I am very pleased with my experience with him. As I am a beginner, he started me on the basics and was very patient and encouraging. I found his material level appropriate and he is willing to move at whatever pace is comfortable for me. The homework he assigned and the additional resources he shared are proving to be very beneficial as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my first lesson and with Pablo's pleasant and relaxed personality, I look forward to my future lessons.
