I have been playing drums since I was 10 yrs old. Some might say its a late start, but I was a ready and driven as ever. Previously I had taken piano and guitar lessons for years, but I couldn't steer away from wanting to play the drums. I wanted to be a diverse drummer and coming from guitar and piano I wanted to learn to be a melodic drummer which I have worked on since. I will teach the art of drums in a form thats understandable and diverse. Everyday is a new experience linked from the last lesson, if you have a special interest in music we will work on it as I can teach samba, jazz, cumbia, r&b, hip hop, gospel, rock, blues, DnB, dance, electro and more. The world of drumming is opening up immensely and now is the perfect time to start, from sponsorships to drum- offs and DVD's to ...
The first instrument I taught myself was drums, so helping others learn is very special to me. Materials used during drum lessons include the Hal Leonard publications The Visual Drumset Method and Drum Aerobics.
Hello and thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Felipe Garcia and I am a self-taught music teacher. I began teaching music in 2010 and have loved it ever since. I believe learning to play music can be fun and easy, and I work hard to make sure your experience with music is one that will inspire you to keep playing for the rest of your life, for as Friedrich Nietzsche said, “without music, life would be a mistake.” My experience with music began long ago when I begged my parents to buy me a drumset and they finally gave in and bought me one when I was 14. Prior to that, I had no real experience with music except as a listener. I taught myself how to play by playing along with CDs of my favorite bands and eventually I felt like the drums wasn't enough, so I talked my parents into ...

i've been playing the drums and drum-set for about 6 years as well. I started in high school and haven't stopped since.
I am twenty years old with about a decade of music experience. My preferences and techniques include jazz, metal, and punk. I went to a private high school here in San Antonio, and there i expanded my musical knowledge on my own. I have had a year of private lessons when i was 15 and i have been teaching myself since. I have taught to children (ages 5-13) and my own brother and friends have learned something from me.
