Bianca P.

Sacramento, CA

Beginning through Advanced, Classical to everything in between

About Bianca

Hello! My name is Bianca and I would like to help you enter and enjoy the wonderful world of music! I was introduced to music at a young age and haven't stopped playing. I love to have fun when I play, but I love sharing my passion and joy even more! I feel that my experience as a teacher has helped me grow to build relationships with my students. I don't treat lessons like Juilliard studies. I have fun with my students. Music can be a serious study, but it is also one of the most fun and rewarding. My goal is to build a good relationship with my student so that I can work with them, rather than against them, to achieve the same goal. Making music is fun, but developing a passion for it gives it the life that nothing else can. Qualifications: A.A. Traditional Music 13 Years ...

Alexia T.

Sacramento, CA

I begin with what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to make the lessons engaging, fun, and relevant to their lives. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion and love of music. Therefore, it's important that each student works at her own pace. I encourage this by setting weekly goals and assignments for each student. As a teacher I am there to guide the student, not to pass or fail them. I encourage creative methods.

About Alexia

I'm a passionate Sacramento area musician and educator with experience teaching students of a variety of ages, levels, and abilities. I love working with young people, and sharing my love of music. As a musician I find that it is my duty and calling to pass on the passion that I have for music. In December 2014, I graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Clarinet Performance and a minor in Education, and I have had the opportunity to perform two solo recitals, as well as perform at the Mondavi Center main stage. I served as principal clarinetist for the UC Davis Concert Band, and have experience with chamber groups as well. Recently, I filled in full time for professional clarinetist and educator Rachel Condry at her Clarinet Studio in Emeryville while she was on ...

About Jessica

Hi. My name is Jessica and I would like to help you reach your goals, whether it be in academics or music. Just to tell you a little bit about myself. I have a B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Science and a minor in Nutritional Science. I am currently on the track to becoming a doctor. So I have a love for the sciences and have been helping other students master the sciences for close to ten years. I also have experience as a Health Educator, so I know how to make the sciences relatable and simple enough for anyone to learn and understand. Aside from having a passion for the sciences, I also love music. I have been playing the piano since the age of 2 and the clarinet since the age of 10.
