How do you say a teacher has good features. A particular instrument has good features.

Liz is a good teacher for someone that wants to take piano lessons. She is knowledgeable and very patient. She is also a Christian which is a very important matter to me when I determine who will be instructing me in any course. I made a wise decision. I look forward to each of my lesson.

He is GREAT at making me understand theory, which I never have. He's also exciting and challenging in learning how to look at music and anticipate/understand where it's going versus my habit of only looking one note ahead at a time. I wish he was a little more interested in teaching classical music, but I also understand that the new stuff I am learning from him will greatly improve my playing of that.

Jonathan has an exceptional background in music theory, which has been implemented well throughout my daughter's lessons. He is positive and encouraging as her vocal abilities rapidly expand. Jonathan has gone above and beyond measures I expected. He is an excellent vocal instructor!

Morgan S.

Richmond, VA

About Morgan

Morgan has always had music all around her. Her mother, father and step-parents are all professional musicians who started influencing her at a very early age. When she turned 7 she was given her first Djembe and
was taught traditional west african hand drumming by her world renowned drummer stepmother,
Jaqui MacMillan. Jaqui opened up the door for her to play with expert drummers over the next few years.
This lead to her mother Beth Justice putting her on stage with her band, Sweet Justice.
Morgan grew to love the stage and by age 9 she had moved from the back of the stage behind the d
rums, to the front with a microphone in her hands. Her mother from then on trained her in stage performance and singing in a contemporary style. By age 14, she had self- taught herself guitar and started writing her own music. By age 16 she was playing her own shows with a mixture of her originals and popular covers. Her junior year of high school, she met her new choir teacher, ,Melody Raef. Melody trained her for classical competitions and helped prepare her for college. In 2011 Morgan was accepted and attended Berklee College of Music for 4 semesters. She majored in Professional music, specializing in songwriting, music business and performance. Morgan is a very passionate, well-rounded singer and musician that enchantes crowds with her emotion and unique music. She now resides in Richmond, VA finishing her degree, performing, and teaching.

Henrico, VA

First lesson, I assess your voice and find where you are at, and record a short session to keep and compare in 3 months, 6 months, 12 months times to see your progress.
I will be sending your lessons to your email address for you to access and to refer to while you practice between lessons. It is the most critical component of the lessons. Practicing.

Bring a song or two that you are working on, or find challenging, or just something you want to learn to sing.

About Sarah

I have been teaching private lessons since 2001 and is currently available to teach lessons at my Home Studio and Online via Skype. I have helped students preparing for Higher School Certificate (Australian), Auditions, recording albums, and achieving their personal goals.

Find your true voice while strengthening and training to have longevity and to acquire an ability to sing any style with ease and maintain it to be healthy.

I received my training at Hillsong International Leadership College in Contemporary Worship Leadership and B. Mus (Voice) degree at University of Western Sydney (
NSW, Australia) in conjunction with Australian International Conservatorium of Music (NSW, Australia) in 2004.

I adopted a method of strengthening the mix of voice and eliminating bridges in the range, while providing the bases of training with solid music education.

I look forward to helping you discover your true voice and experience the joy of singing.
