I've been teaching viola lessons for 15 years and my students have gone on to perform solos, in orchestras, and throughout the community. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to perform "Hot Cross Buns" and as time goes on you'll be able to perform classical and popular music. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels, and I can't wait to meet you!
Hello! My name is Cheryl S, and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2000 and have loved helping my students learn how to play their instruments, particularly in understanding the elements of music, musicianship, and personal expression. I went to VanderCook College of Music and earned bachelors and masters degree in music education. I also hold a California music teaching credential with English language learner authorization. I have been recognized in the publications "Who's Who Among America's Teachers" (2005) and the Rancho Santa Margarita Patch "Whiz Biz" (2012).
