If you have always wanted to sing but find yourself having trouble with vowels, or if people have a hard time understanding you while you sing or talk, the speech level singing method can help you. I have studied these techniques that have been proven to help your speech improve and currently work with students with similar troubles. If you would like to improve this area of your voice, I am the teacher for you.
Hello everyone! I've been singing since the age of 3 and performing since the age of 6. I am not only an experienced music teacher with a passion for music and teaching, but an experienced performer, and songwriter. I started performing at a young age with the Columbia School of Theatrical Arts, and as I grew older I studied different techniques such as speech level singing, classical, and even techniques from Brett Manning, one of the most amazing vocal coaches today who teaches artists such as Haley Williams from Paramore. I have experience performing many styles of music, and also was a voi
ce major in college. The students I teach will benefit from my contemporary techniques, and can learn to sing in almost any style of music they choose.
*** Lesson Details *** Do you want to learn how to sing your favorite song just like the artist? I can teach you the techniques! Or how about how to make a cover song your own based off of your own unique voice? We can work together to find, develop, and build the amazing qualities that you have in your voice. I will not only work on aspects of what you would like to improve on with your voice personally, but I will make an individual plan for you that will dramatically improve your voice! I will work with you individually to strengthen any weakness you may have in a fun environment. I am fun, encouraging and motivating! When asking students to do any vocal exercises, I will explain what the certain exercise does to improve your voice so that you can have the knowledge you need to be a good vocalist, and not just know how to sing properly. You will learn many things in lessons and what I teach you will vary on where you are vocally.
*** Travel Equipment *** I can provide a keyboard, CD, Boom box, music sheets, etc. Students do not need to provide anything.
*** Specialties *** Speech level singing method, classical techniques, singing success, various genres including: pop, blues, contemporary, and musical theatre. I utilize the different techniques I have learned through proper classical training, but mix it with contemporary methods I have learned from speech level singing methods.

We absolutely love Lynzi. I have seen such a difference in my son in a very short time. His confidence has shot through the roof and under Lynzi's guidance, Josh auditioned and was chosen to sing in his school's talent show.
Lynzi is great at getting Josh to channel all his energy into his singing and getting him to focus and follow directions. I highly recommend her!!!

Lynzi is great with my daughter. Very flexible with her schedule and really likes working with kids. I would highly recommend her for lessons.
I've been playing guitar since I was 9 years old and teaching guitar since I was 14. I grew up playing in bands with friends. My parents would drive us (and a ton of equipment!) to wherever we were playing, which was sometimes 50 to 200 miles from home! I later did studio work and played as a solo entertainer. I also studied acting while in college, so being on stage and performing is very comfortable for me. I have extensive experience in teaching both individuals and groups with regard to several different venues, including guitar, bass guitar, acting, public speaking, songwriting and stu
dio recording. I also provide a unique service that my students tell me is very helpful. I record instructions, or demonstrations, and email them to you - on the spot! This way you don't get home and wonder "Now how did that go?" or, " How was I able to do that?" You just open the email and listen to it – whenever you like.
*** Lesson Details *** My teaching style is geared toward each individual student. Everyone has different specific interests and desired outcomes, so my lessons are based on your priorities and your goals. Beginning with your first lesson you should feel inspired and excited! Even if you are just beginning to learn an instrument, you need to have a teacher who can supply you with what you need AND have you playing things that you like within a very short time. This applies to all types of music; rock, standards, folk, metal, classic rock, popular, country, whatever you want to play. Beginner or advanced. So it's up to you -- just tell me what you want to get out of the lessons, and that is what we do! I may be the instructor, but YOU are the director.
*** Studio Equipment *** Martin 1963 "000-18" acoustic guitar Fender Telecaster electric guitar Acoustic Amplifier (Acoustic is the brand name) Digital Recorder (portions of lessons are recorded & emailed to you) Digital Video Recorder (portions videoed and emailed to you) All music, tab, and diagrams are supplied at no additional cost
*** Travel Equipment *** Guitar, sheet music, diagrams, and any and all notes pertinent to what we work on. I supply everything but the guitar that you are playing.
*** Specialties *** Electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar. Rock, folk, gospel, country, finger-picking, vocal accompaniment, improvisation, lead guitar.

The Joy of Learning Music
He lights up the room when he picks up his guitar and plays! Dave draws his students in with his welcoming smile and sparkling eyes that seem to say, "I'm having so much fun here and I want you to have fun, too." His pure enjoyment ignites a spark in us. We're motivated to have that kind of fun with our music while studying hard to advance our skills and techniques and reach our personal goals.
Dave is the consummate teacher--he energizes and inspires, he is trustworthy, of impeccable character, a guitarist extraordinaire, a former counselor whose mission in life is to help others achieve success. He conducts every class with good humor and patience. He is an inventive instructor with a toolbox of unique ways students can learn skills and techniques more easily. He is an honest appraiser of our work whose positive comments encourage and motivate us. He's Dave, who knows and teaches every aspect of guitar repertoire--country, blues, gospel, pop, rock, etc. His instruction is centered on the student's music preferences and goals, and he integrates a progression of the skills and techniques we need to learn with the music we choose. Practice is welcome, as it brings us closer to playing the music we love. Dave is the teacher who opens doors to new aspects of music and encourages us to reach beyond our expectations for ourselves. It's amazing what we find beyond that horizon.
Dave is a teacher for all students. Whatever your talents and aspirations, you will achieve your goals. And along the way, you'll be the one saying, "I'm having so much fun here!"
Dave is a treasure, and taking lessons with him is a truly joyful experience!

Would like to take the time to tell you how much I like taking lessons from David Doud. I have been taking lessons for 3 years now from teacher to teacher. The lesson's I was taking was not going directions I wanted to go. I just wanted to play guitar and make a song book up. When I called David up I explained to him what I wanted and he delivered. In a very short time I created a song book and my guitar playing getting better buy the week. January of next year I will turn 71 year old. I will continue to take lessons from David for a long time. I look forward to each weeks lesson with David because he make's lesson's so interesting and understandable and fun.I did not have that with other teachers they just made the lessons to hard and not fun. Milan
I do many voiceovers and use different voices such as they use in movies and cartoons I can show students how to record voiceovers and also how to speak and presentations and present themselves in a positive way whether it's for a debate club or music I can help you really become a great speaker
I am an international recording artist and seasoned performer. I have been playing music since the early age of 8 yrs old. I have always been inspired by music and love to inspire others with music. Some of my accomplishments include putting an album out with Universal Records as a Nashville recording artist, having over 7 albums out internationally, and recording and playing with some of the biggest names in the music industry. I am a classically trained musician as well as an innovative and experienced teacher. I have been teaching for over 15 years and have seen many of my students go on to
become top-notch performers themselves while pursuing successful careers in music. In addition to being a private music teacher, I have also taught at many schools in the valley including the Center for Educational Excellence School, Grand Canyon Preparatory private charter school and the Arizona Music Academy. I teach all levels of guitar, bass, and drums and tailor every lesson to the individual student’s needs and personality. My annual recitals are live-performance concerts featuring bands and other performing groups formed from among my students along with solo performances. My students also perform regularly throughout the community and are successful in their musical endeavors at all ages. I teach a wide range of genres and styles from classical music, blues, jazz and rock to heavy metal with an emphasis on becoming A-Level lead guitar soloists and song writers. I teach songwriting skills, music theory, and have even helped many of my guitar students be able to sing better while learning their main instrument.
*** Lesson Details *** I make my lessons fun and informative and have had many students stay with me for up to 7 years. I show you everything you will ever need to know about music theory but in a very useful applicable way. I teach popular songs from any artist and classics that have stood the test of time and show you how to become a great song writer of your own giving you an insider’s knowledge about how to perform and have the audience standing asking for more. No matter if you want to become a pro lead guitar player or just play to have fun I can show you how to sing and play the guitar or piano at the same time or singing songs from church as well as your favorite rock or pop songs with confidence.
*** Travel Equipment *** Just my own guitar and amp they need their own equipment.
*** Specialties *** Classical, flamenco, rock, heavy metal guitar. I have also developed new classical guitar techniques that I call the "trem" stroke and the "harpeggio"

I have 30 years of teaching experience and have enjoyed a successful singing, teaching and conducting career in the US and Australia. I have excellent piano skills and can sight-read and play most piano accompaniments for my voice students. No two students are alike so I teach everyone according to their needs and their learning style. I have an exceptional understanding of the voice and communicate using tangible imagery to produce excellent results. I work with all levels of singers from beginners to career level in Broadway, Pop and Classical styles. Beyond university training, I have had
training from teachers and coaches from the Metropolitan Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Arizona Opera and many others. With piano, again, technique is important but lessons must be FUN! I like using innovative ideas and materials so that learning is exciting.
Practice is important for progress so the more you practice the faster you progress.
Because there is always more to learn, I continue to study and attend master-classes and workshops so I can be the best teacher I can be.
*** Lesson Details *** I always want my students to leave their lessons knowing that they are better at the end of the lesson than they were at the beginning. Lessons are all about skill-building, so fundamentals of technique, theory and repertoire are included elements. I'm pretty laid back but know that practice is essential to progress. To that end, I always want my students to understand how to practice, not just what to practice. Practice doesn't make perfect, it makes permanent! My goal as a teacher is not just to help you achieve your goals, but to give you the ability to build on your own skills by knowing the how and the why, not just the what.
*** Studio Equipment *** Lessons in the music room, 5'8" grand piano, computer, iPad, Apple TV, music stands, good lighting
*** Travel Equipment *** Students must have a piano that is tuned and in good working order or a full 88-key weighted action keyboard. Voice students must provide a recording device. All students will be required to purchase music books.
*** Specialties *** I specialize in teaching the Italian school of "bel canto" singing. This technique provides complete connection of breath, voice and body and applies to all styles of singing.
For piano, I don't adhere to any one method. I teach practical, "real world" piano skills including playing chords and improvisation.
I have a Level 1 AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Patti is a phenomenal musician and teacher
Patti is the most effective music teacher I have worked with. She has an intimate and readily communicated knowledge of vocal technique, and crucially, where problems can arise. She has an intuitive awareness of the voice in a way that can only come from extensive professional experience in performance and education. In a relatively short space of time I have learnt a great deal and grown vocally beyond what I thought I would be capable of.
I cannot recommend Patti highly enough.

She does an amazing job!
Pattie is an absolutely wonderful teacher who really knows her stuff. I have learnt so much over the short time we spent together and even though its been a while I can still put her techniques to good use.
As the owner and principal instructor at Studio D - Dance & Voice, my goal is to provide a positive, enjoyable learning experience for all of my students.
My background includes dance (teaching, performance and competition), commercial acting, singing, modeling, and radio/TV experience. My talent resume is available upon request. I have been on network TV and I've been a national media spokesperson for a major US corporation. I'm represented by one of the top talent agencies here in Arizona and I have worked extensively in Los Angeles.
the following individual and group classes:
- BELLY DANCE: Beginning and Intermediate (mainly cabaret style, including zils, veils, scarves, veils, and fan veils). We also dance a wide variety of belly dance, Oriental, and fusion dances - something for everyone!
Interested in performing? Then you'll definitely want to join my belly dance performance troupe. I'm always looking for committed dancers who want to learn choreography and performance techniques. We perform at various venues around the Valley.
- BALLROOM: (including Latin, Swing, Smooth, and Club dances)
For ballroom classes, both couples and individuals are welcome - no partner is required. I work with students who are serious about learning how to dance, and who want to learn proper technique in addition to dance figures. I'm especially interested in working with dancers who are considering competitions and performance. I absolutely love choreographing routines for my student dancers!
I teach at one of the largest studios in the valley - we have plenty of room to move and explore the various dances you want to learn.
For couples planning their wedding, I can help you choreograph and rehearse an enjoyable wedding dance that you and your guests will remember for a lifetime.

DANCE LESSON INFORMATION:
There are a few rules of dance etiquette that any reputable instructor will ask you to follow:
- Please come dressed appropriately. My studio maintains a dress code, so please arrive in appropriate dance attire. Belly dancers may wear yoga pants and athletic tops (belly dance skirts are also perfect). I can provide coin belts and practice veils.
- While in belly dancing we dance barefooted, ballroom dancing does require special shoes. These are highly recommended. Please note that sneakers are discouraged (rubber soles will stick to the floor and impede your movement). If you want to try a lesson or two in regular shoes, that's fine. Just be sure to wear shoes with a leather sole.
- Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your lesson so that you are ready to go when your lesson time begins. If you arrive late, you will forfeit that time.
- Cancellations require a 24-hour notice. This policy allows us to offer your lesson time to another student.
Most important, lesson times are all about YOU. Each lesson will continually build on your knowledge and skills. Your dance instruction will be customized just for you, your skill level, and your goals.
***Accessories and Props***
- Belly dance: I can provide coin belts and practice veils. For more advanced students, I would ask them to purchase their own props and costumes.
- Ballroom dance: Students will need a pair of appropriate ballroom dance shoes (recommended, but not required initially).
- Acting, voice, and modeling: No special items are necessary.

Ballroom Dance ·
Debra is a great instructor for dancing. I've studied with her for many hours and found her teaching to be pleasant, easy to understand, and right to the point; she helped me turn my two left feet into ones that can dance.
The nice thing is that with her background in television, P.R. and how to present a good image, and she has taught me to be more confident and comfortable with my dancing. As a guy, that means a lot!
I highly recommend Debra for anyone wanting to learn the fine art of dance.

"Bulent had taught me what no voice teacher in New York City could not do.
"What can I say about Bulent... As a tenor I had no idea how to sing the high n
otes. When I sang, they used to come out, but sounded tight, so I never got a part in an opera. Well, just in one lesson I vocalized to a high C with the knowledge he gave me. I actually, for the first time, knew how I did it. It was incredible. I was so happy that for the first time in years of voice training in upstate New York, 10 years in Manhattan New York City, studying with teachers that sang at New York City Opera and the Metropolitan Opera Company, and not one of them, was able to teach me what Bulent taught me in one lesson. He is very clear in his teachings. He taught me how to breathe and use my abdominal muscles. AMAZING. I'm so excited to have found Bulent. I've never given up on my dream, at times I wanted to, but now Bulent has given me a new hope that hopefully within a year I can actually audition for a part in a opera. Now I can actually call myself a tenor. A Dream Come True. Thank You, Bulent."
