"Christine is amazing! She is one of the best improv people I have ever seen. Her ability to transform the audience to watch her every gesture is magical!
She is a gifted instructor with a loving, caring, down to earth attitude. Quite honestly, I cannot get enough of watching her on stage! I wish I could learn all her skills so I could be half as awesome at improv as she is."

"I worked with Samara on monologues for college auditions and for my showcase, we worked together for a little under (I think) three months. She's such a g
reat teacher, definitely no complaints. I really loved working with her and she totally helped build my confidence when it came to performing in front of others—I'm (or was) ironically shy/weird about performing monologues and pieces in front of people and have been since I started doing theatre (10 years ago). Nonetheless, I got over that after Samara helped me with my acting and I don't get pre-performance anxiety/nerves anymore. I don't think I would've been able to pull off any of my monologues had it not been for her lessons, she actually helped me choose one of the audition monologues because I couldn't find a second one. In the whole monologue/character-building process, she took notes and asked me questions that really made me think about my character and their motives and actions and whatnot. She's also very encouraging and would commend me on anything I did well or improved on. Point is, Samara is a superb teacher and human!! I'd confidently recommend her classes to anyone who needs help with their acting. Five stars because she definitely was the best instructor ever!!"

his students to be the best they can be. He has a degree in theater from American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles, and is excited to pass on his wealth of knowledge to his students. He specializes in audition preparation, whether for the stage or the big screen, and has invaluable information about acting as a business. Every student will leave their lessons with Keith invigorated and excited about acting as an art form and a business."

*** Lesson Details *** NOTE: I prefer to teach students ages 11 & up. I will accommodate younger students, but as vocal development is a direct reflection of physical development (the instrument is
the body), we will be unable to delve deeply into technique. Instead, the curriculum for younger students will include musicianship and piano skills; they will be more of music lessons that incorporate singing rather than "vocal" lessons. My current studio consists of all sorts of singers including classical, musical theater, R&B, and pop. In classical voice lessons, we will be learning songs not only in English, but also Italian, German, and French. Classical voice lessons may not be for everyone, however, and we will learn repertoire that suits the interests of each student.
I emphasize a basic knowledge of music theory, because it's important for a singer to not only know how to sing, but to also understand the music he or she is singing. I will incorporate music theory into the lessons, starting with basics such as learning how to read notes.
I believe in making sure the singer is comfortable and confident. The environment you will be learning in is open and non-threatening because a singer needs a place to explore his or her voice. I encourage my students to make mistakes and to keep the lines of communication as open as possible. Singers are perfectionists, and we're constantly telling ourselves what we do wrong- we don't need someone else enforcing that negativity.
I concentrate on a classical vocal technique, with proper posture, efficient breathing, lack of facial and body tension, and healthy vocal production. I believe that it is important to have a strong foundation of healthy technique no matter what style of singing. My teaching style and lesson focus will be different for each individual person, and I'm very flexible in adapting to each singer's needs and personality.
I am a very understanding teacher, and very patient, but I will push you to work to your potential! What you put into these lessons and your practicing is what you will get out of it. I am not strict, but I do expect dedication, passion, and respect. I am a very enthusiastic and energetic teacher, and lessons with me will be fun, productive, and encouraging.
If I sound like the right teacher for you, please arrange a trial lesson to see how well we work together!

I have been working with Belinda for a little over 2 years. Every lesson, she challenges me to be better than before. What I love most about her style, is she customizes her style of teaching for the student. I am a very imagery oriented person, and she always helps me to visualize things in ways that makes sense to me. My singing has dramatically improved during my time with Belinda, and I would recommend her to anyone in a heart beat. Every lesson is different, every lesson is challenging in a new way, and every time I walk away feeling like that was the best lesson I've ever had. Thank you Belinda!!
Hi! My name is Kaira. I've been teaching private lessons since 2005 and have loved helping my students learn vocal and acting techniques that will help them in any audition and/or performance. My nu
mber one goal is to help you feel comfortable and confident while on stage. So, I have some successful techniques that will definitely help you achieve your goals. I have been a performing artist for about 20 years; attending a creative and performing arts high school, receiving a Theatre Arts B.A from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and a M.A in Television, Radio, Film from Syracuse University. I have also sung for (worked with) many accomplished celebrities such as: Loretta Devine, Nick Cannon, Reba McEntire and Ike Turner. In addition to performing on stage I worked with networks like: Discovery, WB Network, Clear Channel radio in production and as a Casting Director. You can expect to have fun during our sessions. So, be prepared to have a great time while learning. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
Acting – I have taught all kinds of acting, including Audition Skills, Shakespeare, Stage, Film & TV, Dramatic, Comedic, whatever. I also have quite a bit of experience performing in all those arenas.
Also, I have a relationship with one of the best management agencies in the area. She takes my referrals very seriously because she knows I know what I'm doing.
Voice – Anyone can sing. If you want to and have always thought you couldn't, you will be delighted when I prove you wrong. If you're a serious singer, no matter what style of singing you do, you should train classically. It's just the best way to train the delicate muscles used in singing.
I am an excellent coach, at any level. I will teach you how to OWN the song. That's what keeps people coming back. However, as an instructor, I am better with beginners.
Speaking – Ever lost your voice because you were talking too much? Every professional speaker I know of has. YOU DON'T HAVE TO. It's simply a matter of knowing the correct way to produce the sound. That's easy for me to teach.
Writing – I have been a professional writer and editor for over eight years; I have books, articles, posts, newsletters, etc. published. The point of grammar is to facilitate communication, NOT to be right. I can teach you practical grammar, not just correct grammar. I can show you how to make your words flow and be easily read. If there are typos in here, please understand you should never proofread your own work.
Nutrition/Alternative Medicine – I have been in this field for over 25 years. I am certified as a Sports Massage Therapist and most of my experience is in that area, but over the years, I have garnered quite a bit of usable knowledge.
Meditation – There is no one right way to meditate. You don't even have to be still to meditate, although it's a good place to start. We'll find a way(s) that's right for you.
