I've been a drummer and percussionist for over 20 years. I've studied African rhythms with Ghanan drummers, and have taken many years of tabla lessons at the Ali Akbar College. As a drumset player, I've studied with many of the best teachers alive, and can teach any style from jazz to hip-hop to punk and onward.

I have been playing drums and percussion for well over 30 years. I have played in countless bands and have been involved with many and varied musical projects. I am currently playing with The Inside Outlaws - a pop / country band in the greater Seattle area. My lessons focus on technique, rudiments, musicality, and fun. Playing drums or any musical instrument enriches your life, makes you smarter, and is a whole lot of fun. I also believe that part of learning to play an instrument, is also about learning to teach yourself - making it possible to develop in your own way as a musician.
Percussion performance and instruction has been my main focus for more than 5 years. I started playing the drums when I was ten, taking lessons at the local drum shop. Since then I've studied with musicians and professors at the top of their field, performed in stadiums, conventions and music festivals, and taught award-winning groups and motivated, talented individuals.
Percussion is a very multi-faceted instrument, and I have curriculum and methods to teach any instrument in the family. My general teaching philosophy is that the instruction should always be geared towards the student's goals.
Hey there, my name is Mason L and I'm a musician and educator based in Seattle, WA. I've been teaching private lessons since 2011 and I've had success teaching at private music studios, public schools, and in my own home. I'm currently available to teach lessons at your home, at my own studio, and online. I attended the University of North Texas and earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Percussion Performance; I really enjoyed all of the performances opportunities at the School of Music and I had the chance to work with a lot of talented professors and fellow students. I feel comfortable when I'm performing on stage or rehearsing with some friends. I believe that music is a gift, whatever you listen to and however you enjoy it, so it makes me happy when I can work with people to become ...
I set out to teach you what you want to learn, and hopefully many things you didn't know you wanted to learn, too. I teach in a manner that caters to YOUR individual learning style and interests to get the best results quickly. Lessons with me are laid back and fun, but not without structure and expectation of real improvement week-to-week. You will get where you want to be, both for those that want to learn a few new beats to hammer on their steering wheel and for those that want to be the next Travis Barker.
Hey, my name is Brandon! I'm 22 years old, and I started drumming at 10 years old in school. I have since picked up guitar, bass guitar, piano, ukulele, and singing. The greatest musical exploration for me so far, however, has been songwriting. I have been writing for over 6 years and gigging all over Washington as a solo acoustic act. Aside from that, I have played bass in bands from Ska, to Blues, to Hard Rock, to '80s Pop Covers, to Adult-Contemporary, and have played guitar and drums/percussion to support several local Songwriters. I also do home recording for myself and others, striving for professional quality recordings. From those experiences, I've picked up little tricks in production, engineering, and arrangement. All of these little tricks of mine can become yours in a ...
