Singing
Cares about her students

I just wanted to take the time to say Thank you for allowing my child the opportunity to sing the solo between productions. I think she did a great job and it allowed her to experience what it feels like to sing/perform in front of a large group.
You are a fantastic teacher and I am glad we found you!

Singing
Great vocal coach!

From the first moment I started retraining my voice with her, singing has become a joy again. Her teaching skills are seamless, her personality a delight. With her use of visualization and exercises she inspires confidence, and after a few weeks I am improving more than I have in years!

Rebecca is exactly who we were looking for in a piano teacher. My 12 year old daughter really looks forward to her piano and singing lessons, and I am amazed at the progress that she has made in less that a year. Rebecca keeps my daughter at ease during her lessons, and provides a perfect amount of motivation. She is very understanding and respectful of our religious beliefs, always making sure that we feel comfortable. Rebecca is incredibly talented herself, and we couldn't be happier. I highly recommend her!

what an amazing instructor. My son who did not know how to read a single note nor play a single key after a few lessons picked it up right away and is continually enthused by his instruction from Miss Rebecca. What an amazing instructor. I could not have found a better person to work with my children and accelerating their talents. Thank you Rebecca

Joe H.

Orlando, FL

Michael Chekhov Technique:
Often in the process of creating a character for stage or film we get lost in the design of the role or the analysis of the text; what we have decided to do does not make its way into the actual performance. Michael Chekhov’s technique provides you the tools to bring your choices to life, allowing your work to become clear, vibrant, and powerful. From the creation of authentic emotion, to deepening objectives and intentions, to clarifying gestures and actions, Michael Chekhov’s imaginative and effective tools will inspire you towards consistent peak performance. Utilized by actors on stage or on camera, Anthony Hopkins, Johnny Depp, Marilyn Monroe, Gregory Peck, and Beatrice Straight are just a few of the actors who regularly use (or used) Michael Chekhov’s Technique. From Archetypal Gesture, to the Four Brothers of Art, to Leading Center and Psychological Gesture, Chekhov's tools will be explored and applied in an adventurous, dynamic, and powerful forum.

About Joe

If you are an actor, no matter what level of experience, looking for new inspiration and discoveries within your artistic work, you will want to embrace this exceptional opportunity to study and work with theatre/film practitioner Joe H. within the Art of Acting.

Joe H. has been teaching private acting lessons since 2005 and is available to teach lessons at your home, at his home studio, local rental studio and/or online. Joe has helped his acting students, through the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique, overcome acting blocks, dry spells, plateaus, and reach artistic freedom of expression in
their artistry.

Joe received his theater training at the City University of NYC with actor/instructor, F. Murray Abraham, Marge Linney, David Garfield and Mark Zeller. He’s also a National Michael Chekhov Association (NMCA) alumnus, where he has studied for three years the Michael Chekhov Technique with Master Teacher, Lisa Dalton & Wil Kilroy. He is a Certified Teacher for the NMCA, in the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique. He also holds a BS in Business.

As an expert in his field, Joe looks forward to helping new acting students achieve their goals. Joe's teaching style is thought provoking, organic, emotionally inspiring, and psycho-physically driven. Students will be led through intuitive, imaginative, and physical exercises that strengthen mind-body connections to arrive at peak performances (state of Inspired Action).

Public Speaking · In studio
Though I have had success as a field developer in Network Marketing, I was terrified of public speaking. I constantly denied appearances on stage knowing it was important for my team to see me being recognized publicly. I contacted Joe for help in that area and I was very pleased with the professionalism, knowledge and patience. I find myself speaking and teaching now on stage and my confidence level is up to the roof. I continue to use and practice what he taught me before going on stage to this day. I am forever grateful.

Joe was an absolutely phenomenal teacher. He is well versed in Chekov and his lessons we're incredibly well constructed and really helped me to grasp the new concepts he was teaching. He was an excellent instructor for both new and experienced actors, and set his workshops at a pace that benefitted all experience levels. I truly feel his lessons have helped me to grow as an actor and I am very grateful for all that he taught me. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Mr. Joe has been a great inspiration to my 11 year old son Zach. His patience with kids and knowledge of acting allow the classes to run smoothly. In a little over a year Joe has taught him many skills from stage combat, dance choreography, singing, to monologues. These skills have not only helped my son gain parts in the school plays but have helped boost his confidence. Joe has been a true gift to my son and I am very happy that he has a been a great start to Zach's journey.

Singing · In studio
I studied with Mr.Scott and his partner Mrs.Adrienne for about a year and a half and during that time I learned continuously about correct breathing, training my voice, and overall performance. The lessons were informative, fun, and the time I spent there was invaluable. I now perform at a higher level, receive better roles, and enjoy singing more than I did before. Thanks so much Scott and Adrienne.
