Scruggs style 5 string banjo, melodic style and single string style
Banjo is my main instrument. I have performed on the Grand Ole Opry and have traveled throughout the country performing on the banjo. I can teach all styles and skill levels.
I specialize in clawhammer banjo style. I do not teach two or three finger banjo, though I have many friends that are experts in the subject and I can point you in the right direction if that is what you wish to learn.
I am a 5 year banjo player and teacher and studied at the Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music. I can teach bluegrass, folk, or country banjo.
My main area of expertise is three-finger style banjo. I teach Scruggs, melodic and single-string styles. My main objective is to give students a framework to develop their own musical personality and have the tools to learn music on the banjo in any style or genre.
