I teach how to make recordings sound good!
I have taught private guitar, piano, bass and drum lessons since the late 70s in Salt Lake City, where I majored in jazz guitar performance, and since 1980 in Los Angeles. I make the lessons fun. Some of my students have received college scholarships and won cash prizes for music contests. All of them had fun while learning and improving on their instruments. *** Lesson Details *** I am very enthusiastic and can teach students how to read. If they do not want to read music, they can learn to play by ear. I can also show them where to put their fingers. During piano lessons, I often accompany students on guitar and suggest a scale for improvisation, so they can play the blues. During drum lessons, I often play bass so they can learn to groove. *** Travel Equipment *** They should have

The Vocal Artist A rare 'natural' tenor, Patrick's range and versatility are evidenced throughout his work. From Bach Cantatas to Broadway tunes, he's even dared to sing Denver, bringing audiences to tears with his own rendition of Annie's Song. He is a torch song tenor, a la Rondstadt's 'Round Midnight but with the power and passion of Pavarotti. Like most classically-trained tenors, Patrick can list many of the master works among his repertoire. Starting with Michigan Opera Theatre's Opera-in-Residence program, he performed in Madame Butterfly, Die Fledermaus and The Mikado and others. In Detroit & Windsor Ontario, he performed Bach, Schubert, Handel, Dubois, Mozart and Dvorak. While Patrick's early career focused on classical sacred performances, his real passion is to ...

A couple to name: Mark Hudson (producer of Aerosmith and Ozzy Osbourne), Bruce Kulick (Guitarist for Kiss), Rudy Sarzo (Bassist for Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne), just to name a few. I am currently in a rock and roll band. Playing and teaching music is my passion. As time has gone by teaching at School Of Rock and privately, I have helped kids/people grow musically and as ...

Hello! My name is Ray - I'm 26 years old, born in Queens NY. I studied classical music for many years as a youngster at Aaron Copeland School of Music college preparatory program. Here I was also introduced to Jazz, and around the same time began experimenting with synthesizers. I went on to study Electronic Production & Design at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and quickly became a very sought after studio musician and performer. I've been successfully teaching many instruments and proficiency levels for over 12 years now. Are you terrified of going onstage? Are you not able to hit notes the way you'd like? Do you perform differently when you are by yourself than when you are in front of others? You can do vocal exercises to strengthen your voice and try to perform as much as possible to get rid of your stage fright. Those methods might work! But when was the last time you took a moment to connect with yourself? The feeling of what its like to sing, the feeling of your voice vibrating inside your body? What about the song? Are you sharing a story, hoping others can relate? Is it believable? How can you connect with an audience if you are not connected to yourself? After studying with several different instructors, I realized that you can do the best drills and exercises, but without the ...
