Learn to play what you want to play. I teach many genres including rock, pop, and jazz. As a respected composer and songwriter, I can help you develop your own sound. I also can teach music theory (beginner-advanced) included in lessons.
Ever wanted to learn how to play the guitar but couldn't motivate yourself to do so or had trouble finding the right instruction for you? Try a private lesson with Chris and make it a fun experience. Chris is a well-rounded composer, performer, and instructor of music. I have experience teaching from ages 5-adults in all different styles and am in my last year at Moravian College as a double major in music composition and jazz performance. Depending what you want, lessons can easygoing and relaxing, but could also be theory-intensive, involve prep-work for auditions, and lead to improvising and composition (most importantly, they will be fun and motivating!). Lessons are given at my private studio in Coplay, PA. If you are within 3 miles from my studio, I am willing to travel to you.

It's my goal as a private instructor to be approachable, encouraging, and fun! I want your weekly lesson to be something you look forward to rather than dread. I take a personalized approach to teaching, which means finding what works best for YOU and not anyone else. No matter what genre you're interested in, I look forward to helping you reach your musical goals!
Hi, my name is Nate W. I'm an electric bassist and pianist with 16 years of experience playing in various groups - from classical to jazz to rock. I've been giving bass (beginner-advanced), piano (beginner), and music theory (beginner-intermediate) lessons since 2012. I studied composition and performance as a Dean's List student at Berklee College of Music, and graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree. While there, I studied with some truly gifted musicians including Victor Bailey and Danny Morris. I also attended master classes with world renowned bassists such as Bootsy Collins, Ron Carter, and Victor Wooten.
Bass has always been a solid instrument in my skill sets. I've contributed bass riffs and rhythms to recordings for years and became important parts of local bands in the past. Certain topics to be studied include exercises, picking techniques, slapping, note reading, chord embellishments, modal scales, and other very important techniques used in bands. Bass is an awesome instrument. I can't tell you how many times that I was told "bass players are the least known people in the band". No! They are known, and they are considered the most important contributors to band music in general. See for yourself!
My Name is Mason and I've been teaching music to students of all ages since I was 14. I originally taught at a facility near Reading, PA called Zeswitz. While I worked there I studied along side other seasoned professionals in genres like jazz, heavy metal and folk styles. Currently I run a small business. My experience, since I was 8 years old, was built on private lessons from select very accomplished and certified guitarists. I also played in several profitable bands including jazz duos, classic rock trios and currently a blues duo with my lovely wife. I'm also always building and helping local bands. I'm very pro learning and never satisfied with my playing enough to say I don't have to practice any longer. I share to same attitude towards my students. There are always new grounds to ...
