Students can expect to learn the basics of music technique on their instrument. I encourage students to work hard and I advise regular practice with the help of parents to accomplish goals. My teenager has had lessons with Jacob for 3 years, first guitar, then piano. He has a great personality and is a very encouraging teacher. She never once wanted to quit and never complained about going to the lessons, even with an otherwise very busy schedule, which is a testament to him and his teaching. He is a very dedicated and talented musician, and was always willing to work with whatever songs she wanted to learn. I would highly recommend him for any age kid or adult.

Having the ability to sing can be a talent that comes easy for some and some may study and learn it, but it is an attainable goal for anyone.

About Betsy

I graduated cum laude with a bachelors degree in Vocal Performance from Youngstown State University. I have been teaching since 1995. My students are successful opera singers, choir singers, rock singers and backup vocalists. I have sung for Orlando Opera, Vaudvillities, and Opera Project Columbus. I want music to be fun for everyone.

From the basic elements of making sound to forming a solid singing technique - I can cater and help each singer that wants to learn to better their musical craft.

About Kristen

Outside of teaching, I
have been singing and performing on Cruise Ships all over the world for the past 3+years, have performed in various theaters, jazz trios, choirs, church venues, and orchestral concerts.

I believe everyone can learn how to sing. People always tell me "Oh I can't sing at all," but with a few pointers and some practice, you'd be amazed at what they can do!!! While I don't have the resources to teach classical voice at the moment, I pride myself on helping others find their most beautiful voice with ease. If you're interested in singing jazz/blues, bluegrass/country music, pop, or musical theater we can work together to improve your stamina, quality, and range.

About MacRorie

Hello! I'm MacRorie Dean. I recently received a Master's Degree from The Ohio State University where I taught undergraduates during my studies. I have an interdisciplinary degree which means that I specialize in a lot of different things. In addition, I have always been an artist and believe it's vital to cultivate artistic skills like musicals instruments, theater making, and dance. Thus, I am available to teach a variety of subjects from writing, reading, and language skills to private harp and voice lessons. I can't wait to meet you!
