Alicia B. Miami, FL

About Alicia

Alicia has been playing the violin since she can remember thanks to her very talented musical family. Because of their efforts she received her first exposure to loving and teaching music at an early age through attending and later assisting her mother's Suzuki string program. They also afforded her the opportunity to learn with some of the finest violin teachers Miami has to offer. A proud alumni of Miami's public arts programs, including those of Southwood Middle School, Coral Reef Senior High and the Greater Miami Youth Symphony, Alicia encourages all of her school-age students to explore their options of participating in the various youth arts organizations in the community. Alicia is a Great Teacher!

Alicia is an excellent teacher! Her welcoming and amiable personality makes it a joy to work with her. She develops well-coordinated lesson plans appropriate for my skill level and is very effective at identifying and helping me improve my weaknesses. She is very encouraging and extremely patient with me. I started as a complete beginner and I'm astonished with the progress I have made with her help. I recommend her wholeheartedly!
Adrian B. Miami, FL

My teaching purpose is to instill a music appreciation while showing the technical aspects, reaching for a deeper way of transposing the even the most distinct feelings into music. To share my musical and educational experience with others, to exceed all others expectations, as well as mine, to fulfill my dreams, and create stronger principles, while reaching personal growth.

Adrian has done an amazing job with my 2 four year olds. They can now recognize notes, rests and they have proper position with the violin. They have learned a simple and short song but it's music to my ears. Adrian is great with all of us and incredibly flexible. If you are looking for someone to teach your children or someone just for you, look no further

OK. So Yunior was recommended to me by a friend who after having 2 previous violin teachers, couldn't play anything if his life depended on it. A month after he started his lessons with Yunior he was doing things his previous teachers couldn't get him to do. I decided to give him a try and can't be more happy to write this review.....

#1, this guy is a miracle worker. You can walk into a lesson sounding terribly (I'm very guilty of that), but by the time you walk out he's fixed all your problems. The best part of it all is how he teaches you to TEACH YOURSELF and how to practice at home.

#2, he can actually play his instrument. Why do I say that? Well, my previous teacher could play but it was nothing like listening to Yunior. He demonstrates and everything just sounds so perfect and effortless. It makes you want to work hard and play just like him.

#3, he's a cool guy with a great sense of humor. He likes to talk but fixing things is his thing. And I always ask him to play something for me at the end of each lesson and I'm just left in awe. I highly recommend him!
Janelle M. Miami, FL

About Janelle

I have loved music since I could walk. I began playing piano at age 5, which was an excellent introduction to music for me; I later chose to play the violin, which came to be my main instrument. Throughout middle and high school, I dedicated many hours to practicing and listening to the songs I was learning, both solo and orchestral. I also studied privately with my private teacher, Mr. Guangshu Song in South Florida. I have learned the unique art of violin playing, performing at many orchestra concerts and solo and ensemble competitions, earning Superior ratings. I have played more recently with the Alhambra Orchestra in South Florida and I am committed to sharing my talent and love of music with kids and adults. In addition, I have broadened the horizons of my violin playing to ...
