I have been taking saxophone lessons with Chris for the past month and the experience has been invaluable. Their professionalism as well as dedication are two very important elements in the dynamics that has been developed. In the first class I could barely play a scale, and for the third week I could play 5 of them without any problem. We are now focusing on developing the style of swing that is something I have always wanted to learn. I know that with his guidance I'll get to where I want to be in relation to my musicianship.
Chirs Thanks for your interest and dedication.
PS: He has being able also to give me feedback by email or over the phone; something that is highly important for practicing the wright way.
With 13 years of secondary teaching experience, both in a charter public, and private school setting, I am confident in my ability to become an asset to your student's individual educational needs!
A graduate of Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa (2003), I graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education with emphasis in both vocal performance and flute. I am incredibly active in several music professional organizations including FBA, FMEA/FSMA, MENC, IBA, and IAAE, as well as being an alum of Mu Phi Epsilon, a National Honorary Music Fraternity.
I was honored to be nomin
ated each year while teaching at Ainger for the Charlotte County Teacher of the Year and was selected as the 2004 Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year for Charlotte County. This honor comes from student nominations that are sent in and was awarded $1000 to purchase supplies for my program.
Professionally, I have served as the Florida Bandmasters Association District 16 Secretary (Middle School), as well as the District 15 Secretary and later Chairperson in addition to being a member of the the the FBA State Executive Board and Broward Music Educators Association. I believe that every student, regardless of ability or age, can grow musically. My purpose is to enrich and challenge students by helping them discover the special meaning that exists only in creating, re-creating, and experiencing music. In this way, I hope to inspire and motivate your child to achieve their fullest potential in music.
*** Lesson Details *** I am here to provide students a comprehensive, balanced education in instrumental and vocal music. Through the study of music, students develop intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially. Intellectual growth is enhanced through the student's ever-increasing knowledge of musical concepts; its unique notation system, terminology, styles, historical eras, and historical figures. Physically, students must adapt to the many challenges of learning an instrument and transforming symbols into sound. Students also develop a sense of leadership through learning to work side-by-side with others in a group setting. Perhaps the most unique and essential element making music education so special, however, is that it provides students the opportunity to develop aesthetically. Aesthetic education helps a student develop his/her own natural responsiveness to the power of music. Through studying, creating and experiencing quality music, the student becomes more attuned to his/her individual expressiveness. Simply put, music educates the whole child-mind, body and heart.
I believe there is no more powerful a way for my students to explore and understand what it means to be human in all its many facets than through the creation and experience of music. My personal goal as a music educator is always to increase my students abilities to perceive, experience, and react to the expressive qualities of music by providing students personally fulfilling and meaningful opportunities for musical experiences.

Daniel is one of the greatest teachers there would be in the field he performs and the instrument he plays. Among his greatest traits are being a talented clarinetist and saxophonist, a great person, a dedicated professional and an amazing teacher. I would recommend Daniel for any position he would aspire and apply for.

"Dimitry is an excellent clarinetist and professional colleague
I am a professional oboist with a great deal of experience. I have played in an orchestra
with Dimitry for 5 years. I find his principal clarinet playing to be very fine. He is also a very good colleague. While my relation to him is not teacher-student, I judge from his warm personality that he makes an excellent teacher."

"I have had plenty of lessons with Vengerov and he can make a young musician 100x better. He fixed a lot of the problems in regards to my bad habits on cla
rinet. After each lesson, I felt motivation and progress as a musician. My family, and I saw major improvement after taking lessons with Vengerov as well, and I have listened to multiple of his other students play and was always impressed at how amazing they sounded. He is a big help in my high school Wind Ensemble too. Vengerov is helpful, professional, and is absolutely 1st rate."

"My daughter's school has had 2 band directors in as many years. And while the new director is good, I didn't think he had time for individual students wh
en starting this new job. He was busy with marching band, concert band, jazz band, pep band, concerts, etc. My daughter was frustrated and ready to quit music (band). I choose Ryan to tutor my daughter one-on-one. I'm so glad I did. After only a few months now, but her skills have greatly increased. She shows more knowledge, confidence, and ability than after a whole year of school band! She knows scales and can play songs that her band hasn't started yet. In less than 4 months, she went from barely playing scales and a couple songs to playing almost anything in her music book. She now gets straight A's in band and loves to play. Ryan is very skilled at teaching many instruments. He knows how to explain concepts at the students' level, and makes lessons fun. I would highly recommend hiring Ryan to teach your child."

"We have been having such a delightful time learning clarinet for the first time! My husband and I love to learn new skills together as a date each week.
Simon has such a pleasant teaching style! He points out the mistakes that you're making that are important at your given level and lets the right things slide. Every lesson we've learned more and not felt overwhelmed. He's a master teacher. While he's been great with adults, If I ever convince my son to pick up one of Simon's instruments, I bet Simon is the guy that could get my grumbly kid enthused. He's definitely a find! Five stars!"

"There's no need to decide between quality, quantity, and economic cost with this teacher, because he offers the best of them all. I have taken lessons fro
m Curtis for over a year, and I have to say that it was one of my best decisions on my path toward professional musicianship. As a teacher, musician, and friend he has far exceeded my expectations, and he has always gone out of his way to have his students' best interests at heart. I could easily and truthfully say that in one year taking lessons from Curtis, I have improved more than in my seven years of playing combined. If you're serious about your instrument, this teacher will match your motivation and help you advance as far as you want to go. Great investment."
