Taught me techniques to preserve my voice

I'm a rock singer and prone to scream sometimes. As I've gotten older, I've noticed my voice wears out a lot quicker than it used to. After taking lessons with Laurelanne, she found I never learned proper technique when singing in this style. She showed me how to make adjustments and I've seen a lot of improvement with how long I can sing in my style.

About Sabrina

I've been banging on the piano since I was 3, but piano became more structured when I turned 7 and I've loved it so much since then. I've been classically trained for 13 years and my favorite genre is modern Japanese classical music. I also studied with a dedicated musician for 2 years; he finished my studies in music theory and allowed me to co-teach on his private lessons. I have been teaching students, and have been taught by them, for three years. Children somehow seem drawn to my personality and aren't intimidated when I am around and I believe students benefit greatly when they are comfortable with the teacher and can feel natural around them. The teaching process is most successful when the students share their ideas, disagreements, goals; when they are challenged and test ...

Wonderful Teacher!

My 7 yr old enjoys and looks forward to her piano lessons with Sabrina. Sabrina is very kind, professional and encouraging. She instructs with positive reinforcement and teaches in a way that is enjoyable and understandable to a 7 year old. Her passion for piano is contagious and my daughter often practices without being reminded.

Excellent vocal coach

I've been taking lessons with Jared for a few months now, and I am very pleased with the progress. Jared is really easy to work with, get along with, and is very adaptable. His approach is built off of what you (the student) wants, and finding the best way to achieve that. I would recommend Jared as a vocal coach for any singing style, any gender, and anybody who wants to become a great singer.

Very knowledgeable and willing to do the research if you present with a new challenge. I have been a singer most of my life, with only limited training. I had reached a point where my voice was failing. She has helped me to reconstruct my approach to singing and has saved my voice. I am in my 40's but am now singing better and more consistently that I have at anytime in my life! Highly Recommended!

Sasha is awesome! I'm 18 and I've been taking guitar and voice lessons from Sasha for several months now and I've improved way more than I expected. She really listens to her customers and tailors the lessons to each individual. I choose which songs I want to learn each week, and she teaches me exactly what I want to know. Couldn't have asked for a better instructor--I'm so pleased with all she's helped me accomplish.

I have been singing since the age of 3. I work with operatic fundamentals; Nicola Vaccai and Seth Riggs Speech Level Singing.
These give a student note reading fundamentals, an understanding of intervals and how to sing all of them, and breathing and timing technique. I do not teach solely opera! I am a Jazz, R & B, and pop singer, with a multi-octave range and extensive repertoire. If I am unfamiliar with an artists' music I take the time to learn it. How can you teach what you don't know?

About Aimee

Hello! My name is Aimee and I am looking forward to meeting you. I have been teaching for 13 years and love helping my students achieve their musical goals. I believe every student is unique and therefore feel it is necessary to give each student a learning approach that is suitable to their individual ability. Every lesson with me will provide to the student consistent advancement in musical knowledge. Whether it is Playing guitar, Singing, ( or both), or Playing piano, I will help you get where you want to be. I do incorporate in the Lesson Plan, learning Music Theory to the applied instrument. I encourage a positive approach to learning music to ensure goals are met.

She encourages and gives detailed instuctions and is genourous with her time. And plays guitar very well at a level I could only dream of. She helped me remember a song I knew. And taught me different ways to play songs that I already know.

I found Aimee through TakeLessons after not being very satisfied with my daughter's previous guitar teacher. From my first conversation with Aimee, I knew choosing her was going to be the right decision. Her experience and expertise shows as she knows how to teach and is good at it. My wife and I feel blessed to have found Aimee and that she is our daughter's teacher now. We are planning to have her start teaching our youngest son piano.

My son, Joe, has been taking guitar lessons from Mrs. Aimee since he was in kindergarten. He is now in third grade. In second grade, he also started taking voice lessons from Mrs. Aimee. She has been a God-sent to us! She is a professional, hard-working guitar instructor. She also worked with our crazy schedule and taught Josiah through Skype a few times when we could not make it to her location on time. Mrs. Aimee is a consistent teacher who also is very patient and loving with her students. She made the lessons fun and interesting for my son by incorporating the kind of music genres that he liked. She is not only Josiah's guitar teacher but has now become a friend of the family.

"Call it stage presence, call it the “it” factor, some performers just have a natural ability to draw people in and change the atmosphere around them. Stage presence can carry a performer to a higher artistic realm. It’s the final piece of the puzzle, the emotional heart of a performance that can bring an audience to tears. Without it, even the best performance risks falling flat." In my course you will learn to pull out your self confidence and use it to convey whatever message you desire to your audience. You will learn to use your strengths to intrigue and entertain the audience.

About LaAerial

I'm happy you're here and are ready to learn. I'm an artist, I work in the field of music writing songs, recording and performing. I've had the pleasure of teaching throughout my career, beginning as a tutor, moving on to a teacher's assistant in math and general studies, and later as teacher and demonstrator of chemistry and physics. I've taught private singing and performance lessons since 2008. I also enjoy working as a voice-over artist with experience narrating mysteries and dramas. I can speak a bit of 3 languages and can put on the English speaking accent of about nearly 10 different countries. It would be my absolute pleasure to share with you the skills I've attained over the course of my life and creative careers. I am looking forward to meeting you!
