I have been teaching since I was 15 years old! Started with peer to peer tutoring to summer lifeguard and swim lessons for all ages in pool and the ocean! Today, after years of singing back up and performing as a keyboardist or drummer for STOMP, Celtic Celebration, Olivia Newton John, Lou Reed, Rod Stewart and musical theater tour productions of GREASE, No No Nannette, XANADU; I continue teaching to keep me sharing my joy of music and learning!

I am a fluent French speaker with a over a decade of experience in teaching French and English. I am a very easy-going, professional person. I have been tutoring since the age of 16. I started professionally tutoring French and English after graduating in 2005 with LLB French Law and English Law. I have solid work experience tutoring English, French and English law and additional experience teaching business studies and Croatian language. I have a strong background when it comes to translation and interpreting legal business and technical documents. I am currently in school to get my teaching credential and have spent some time in elementary school classrooms working with small groups or individual students. I have tutored students in reading, math, and Spanish through the America Reads program in New York and while I was in high school in California. I love helping students to achieve their academic goals and discover their true potential. My older sister has autism so I have become very familiar with many different special needs children and am very understanding and patient with each student's level of learning. I also volunteered at an Autism center while studying abroad in Ghana during college, so I have some experience working with children in many different environments.

I am currently an undergraduate student in my senior year studying Bio-engineering at UCLA. I have experience tutoring in a variety of different subjects from math to reading and writing, and I have a lot of experience working with students of all ages. I have a very strong background in Physics, Biology, math up through Calculus, and Chemistry including Organic Chemistry. Additionally I have a background in theatre, with experience in every aspect of the production of a show from performing as an actor, to hair, make-up and costume design, as well as directing and stage managing. I have my own car and a fairly flexible schedule. I also have a lot of energy and patience and enjoy working with all types of students!
Hello! My mother taught me how to sew when I was nine years old and I have loved it ever since. I used to make my own clothes and wear them to school! This led me to study it in college. I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012 and received a BFA. I can teach the basics starting with the tools and how to use a sewing machine, all the way to making your own patterns. I also have fashion sketching skills!
