Fun, engaging, personalized, and productive, lessons with me are enjoyable and highly effective. As a professional piano teacher of 16 years and a classically trained pianist, teaching piano is my passion. I want the love of music, the feeling of accomplishment, and the ineffable joy of learning to play piano to be the reason my students want to practice piano and attend lessons.
The rapport between student and teacher is one of the most important factors of your First Class lessons. I consider it a priority that each student feel comfortable with me, feel at-home in my studio, enjoy their lessons, and develop a love and knowledge of music that will last a lifetime.
New concepts and homework/ practice assignments are explained and documented in easy-to-understand ways. Proper technique is stressed regardless of experience level or age. Lessons also include music theory and ear-training in addition to sight-reading.

I'm a friendly, patient, enthusiastic, experienced teacher, joyfully instructing piano professionally since 1999. Music transcends words, and I have a deep understanding of music/ piano, both personal/ experiential, and technical/ academic which I truly enjoy sharing with my students. I continued to study piano throughout elementary school, high school, and college where I studied piano, music history and theory. I studied and completed fieldwork and internships in music therapy and psychology, and have extensive experience working with students with special needs. In graduate school, I studied piano and music theory under David Holzman, world-renowned ...

It is to no one's surprise that I completed my first demo at the age of 13 and was performing for Queens Colleges audiences at 14. I went on the rank high in the NYSSMA series in both piano and voice. I also went on to study music in college and began touring with gospel troupes nationally. Since then I has done many workshops, Master Classes, tour dates, theatre shows etc. Too many to date. I am a sought after teacher for voice, piano and broadway singing. I train
