About Regina
At the age of fifteen, Ms. Regina graduated with honors from the Z. Paliashvili Special Music Gymnasium for Gifted Children in Tbilisi, Georgia. As a student of a famous Georgian pianist, Tengiz Amirejibi, she presented her country in numerous competitions. (Tengiz Amirejibi was a student of Heinrich Neuhaus, a famous Russian teacher and pianist.)

As a child, Ms. Regina gave many solo recitals and concerts with the Georgian Symphonic Orchestra. Ms. Regina earned her Doctorate of Musical Arts with emphasis on Advanced Piano Performance from the Yerevan State Conservatory. After graduating,
she worked with talented children in her alma mater for many years. Later in her professional career, Ms. Regina taught at the Tbilisi State Conservatory as well as the Moscow Music Gymnasium.

With more than eighteen years of professional teaching experience, Ms. Regina is able to offer her students a diverse range of educational resources. She specializes in teaching piano, performance, and music theory to students of all ages and levels.

Ms. Regina's teaching techniques are based on a combination of the famous Russian Music School (based on music giants such as Konstantin Igumnov, Daniel Barenboim, and Heinrich Neuhaus) and the American Music Education System. This combination allows each student to work at a pace comfortable for him/her, and helps all students make significant progress in the areas of sight reading, ear training, and performance skills.

***Teaching Schedule***
Ms. Regina teaches in her Glendale studio and the surrounding areas every day of the week except for Saturdays. She teaches in her Orange County studio located in Fountain Valley on Saturdays.

***Travel Area and Special Rates***
If the system shows that your location is out of my travel area, please contact me by messaging through TakeLessons! Also feel free to inquire for discounts for siblings!

***Online Classes***
I have gotten many questions regarding whether I teach online piano lessons. Due to the nuances associated with this subject, it is crucial for the student to take lessons face-to-face. It is extremely important to learn and get used to the correct hand positions for all students; otherwise, problems with playing harder pieces will inevitably arise. I feel that students taking online piano lessons truly do not get all the benefits of taking the lessons face-to-face. Please don't hesitate to email me if you have any other questions or concerns!

Stephanie is an excellent teacher! And as a former teacher, my standards are very high. I was really nervous about taking formal singing lessons but Stephanie built my confidence and empowered me to just go for it and have fun! She's able to break things down in accessible ways; when something doesn't make sense she tries to explain it in as many ways as needed. She's energetic, compassionate, and kind. She creates a safe environment with no judgment - just joy and a good time. Since starting to take lessons, I have dared to sing in public and have gotten really positive feedback. All that has been possible because of Stephanie!

Music is such a huge part of my world, and after touring many years ( 15+) I landed here at age of 32 writing a review which I would only do and only will do if i feel its something I need to share. Stephanie has shown me a world that I hadn't had many footprints on before I reached out to her for voice lessons. Talented is an understatement, her approach to teaching voice is incredible, the ability to adapt to each person, describe and demonstrate. Not to mention her patience ( dealing with me ) in a way that has finally made sense giving my last attempt to really give it my all to learn how to share my soul not only through guitar but now the VOICE..
Some amazing singers may not teach, some amazing teachers may not sing Stephanie you have a god given talent to do both.... stay in your magic!
