About Michelle
Hi! Thanks for your interest in taking lessons with me. I've been teaching group classes in schools and companies and private lessons since 2004. I have enjoyed helping thousands of people improve their speaking, listening, reading and writing. I've worked with a wide range of people — from students, immigrants, and refugees to celebrities, CEOs, and professional athletes.

In 2001, I graduated from University of California, San Diego with a degree in Communications. I also completed certification courses to get a TESOL (ESL) certification, an International Teaching License, and a Health Co
ach Certification. You can see the scans of these documents in my photo section.

I'm an energetic and patient person, and my teaching is fun, flexible, and full of useful information – I have the answers to all of your questions! I am a member of a teaching association with huge database of materials, so I am always prepared with exercises and activities that are exactly what you need to improve your skills.

Because I am also a coach, I specialize in helping people with low confidence and nervousness. I'm an expert at quickly making you feel confident and relaxed — and ready for your next business presentation or lunch with coworkers.

I would be happy to answer any questions. Please send me a message today!

I'm looking forward to meeting you and helping you improve your English!

Michelle,

Muchas gracias Michelle!

Stephanie truly caters to making the most of her student's talent. My 11-year-old daughter has been taking lessons from her for about a year and a half and has developed tremendously. Stephanie teaches towards the student's interests and immensely helps in actual performances. There is analysis and breakdown of not just notes in the songs but also the feelings and facial expressions that enhance the performance. My daughter never feels unprepared for any singing performance big or small. My child has been empowered to go for any school auditions with the confidence Stephanie continually helps to build. More importantly, Stephanie develops a great rapport with her students that helps them feel very much at ease with the learning process. Very highly recommended!

About Michelle
Hi! I'm Michelle, a world traveler/teacher who's here to help bring her experience and energy to students back home in California. I've taught various subjects such as test prep, English, history, and languages to students all over the world, such as China, France, and Ecuador. I've worked with students of all ages and love getting to know them to help figure out how they best learn.

I love learning languages in my spare time and practicing when I can. When I'm not looking a bit silly doing that, I'm usually reading, at a baseball game, or hanging out with friends. I keep active, making sur
e to run or play a sport when I can. However, it's equally as strong as my love for foods of all kinds.

I really look forward to getting to work with you and helping you with whatever I can!
