I am finishing up my undergraduate degree at Northern Arizona University this Fall with a Bachelor of Science and a minor in Chemistry. I just returned from studying abroad in Athens, Greece, and will be in Scottsdale for the rest of May and all of June. I have previous tutoring experience in math, and have had volleyball coaching positions for several years. I am open to tutoring in any academic subjects including art, as well as private volleyball lessons. I have been on the Dean's list every semester at NAU, receiving a B or higher in each of my courses with a 3.7 cumulative GPA. My freshman year of college I attended Quinnipiac University, playing volleyball at the DI level. After transferring to NAU, I became a member of a sorority and joined the club volleyball team. If you want to maximize your skill set it track and field, then I am your man! I ran the 110 hurdles for the University of Arizona, and had great success running nationally, and internationally in high school. Arizona's heat provides a challenging work environment, so it is critical that your time in the son is maximized so that you are not draining yourself without any results.
I have been a athlete/coach/ and master motivator since I was 5 years old. During my athletic carreer I was one of the top point guards in the state of Wisconsin, as well as one of the top hurdlers to come out of my home town. I parlayed those athletic skills into a track and field scholarship for the University of Arizona. During my time their I played pick up basketball against some on Arizona's best as well as many who have since went on to play in the NBA. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Arizona, I have reached out to the youth of my community and teach kids individually as well as collectively how to be stronger, faster and more explosively in any sport the work in. But my areas of strength are track and field and basketball. ...
I teach to excel my students. I do this in a way that is fun, engaging and interactive.
Running is one of my favorite hobbies, have attended countless marathons (5-20k) since age 8.
Hi, there! My name is Diego and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2010 in Mexico, and have loved helping my students get to know the basics of the skill or activity they're pursuing. I find out what inspires them to learn about such activity, and let them learn how to love and master it in the way and pace that is optimal for their success. I'm currently in college and will be attending ASU this coming semester, and have learned my skills throughout school (Mira Costa College in San Diego, CA) and hobbies (rugby, drumming in a couple bands, playing sports throughout high school). I'm a patient and enthusiastic person and my teaching style is rudimentary, repetitive, and fun for everyone. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
Practice will be thorough and provide knowledge of my own in addition to all of my prior coaches in distances from 1/2 mile up to the marathon distance.
My name is Matt and I am a former Division 1 Collegiate runner for cross country and track. I've been coaching distance runners and running since the early 90s for adults, teens, and youth, but teaching since 2001. I enjoy teaching math and subjects in the lower grades.
