About Danielle

I have been taking the world by surprise since the age of 4. I began studying at Queens College at 6 years old and was a recital pianist by the age of 12. I was a consumer of music, from the Music Theory lessons on Saturdays, piano lessons on Thursdays and voice lessons on Saturday afternoons, my life was filled with music. It is to no one's surprise that I completed my first demo at the age of 13 and was performing for Queens Colleges audiences at 14. I went on the rank high in the NYSSMA series in both piano and voice. I also went on to study music in college and began touring with gospel troupes nationally. Since then I has done many workshops, Master Classes, tour dates, theatre shows etc. Too many to date. I am a sought after teacher for voice, piano and broadway singing. I train

Scott is not only an amazing guitarist, but he is a superb teacher. Kind, supportive, and has an uncanny ability to break-down difficult pickings and strums into understandable and easy to follow directions. Most importantly, very patient. I was self-taught in the 70s when everyone picked up a guitar, stopped as an adult and am now re-starting it again after 30 years-and enjoying every moment. Scott is able to teach any type of music or song and intuitively understands and teaches the guitar style that the student would like to learn. Any student who studies with Scott should consider themselves fortunate. Not only does he know his stuff, he is passionate about music and passing on this musical knowledge to his students.

Worlds greatest guitarist gives lessons (and he's a good guy too)

I have been taking lessons with Scott for almost 10 years. Lessons have varied from ear training to guitar to songwriting. He is one of the most knowledgable and gifted musicians/ teachers I have ever known.

Lesson structures have been both formal and informal (at my request). I take a lot of information and knowledge home from each one and plenty to practice. Whether you want to learn a song or you want to learn theory, he can explain anything clearly and comfortably meeting you on your skill level.

I was really uncomfortable with where I was musically when I first started taking lessons. Almost immediately after starting with Scott I was confident in talking with other musicians in their language.

Do yourself and anyone who hears you make music a favor, and get a lesson with Scott!

Respectful and Talented Teacher

Scott B. is a masterful guitarist. In addition, he's a great teacher. He communicates respectfully- as good as he is, he never talks down to you and regardless of your level, he speaks to everyone the same way and has the same professional teaching approach. He is amazingly knowledgeable and will give you all the tools you need to become a true guitarist. I can not say enough positive things about him as a guitar teacher!

I have experience recording in my own home studio as well as in professional studios. I have experience with interface setup, microphone placement, plugins, music software, etc. and can help you make your own quality music without spending lots of money at expensive studios.

About Christopher

In my years of teaching and being taught I have realized that the best teachers are those who really focus on the needs of the student and help them realize their passion for playing music. This usually involves a lesson plan which combines both technical aspects and working on songs, so that the student is both working and having fun at the same time! *** Travel Equipment *** I can provide music, music stand, amp, etc. I expect a student to have their own instrument, although I can supply one of my instruments for lessons. *** Specialties *** I can teach from beginner to very advanced on guitar, bass guitar and upright bass in the styles of Rock, Jazz, Blues, Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop etc. I also have experience in other subjects such as Logic Pro, Composition, Music Theory, Djembe. ...

Chris is an awesome teacher. He adapts the lessons entirely to you as individual - letting you pick the songs you want to learn & the pace you want to learn them, meanwhile giving you enough structure to make substantial progress.

I'm classically trained and write and record original compositions heard in film and TV, most recently Veronica Mars. I have over ten years experience with Pro-Tools and can take you as far as you'd like to go. I can get you started recording live instrument tracks or show you advanced production technique and how to create expressive and intricate midi instrumentation.

About Erica

I produce and record music that can be heard in film and television. I teach several instruments and genres of music and take your tastes and learning style into utmost consideration. I always begin with practical exercises to develop technique, then we can focus on playing the music you love. To vocal students I teach exercises that develop technique and allows you to explore your voice. I will help you learn to make sounds you love. Singing is created by breath and muscles which we have full access to. Anyone can learn with proper focus, care and practice. What an amazing website of resources. I don't think it would have been possible for me to have pursued a long time desire to take lessons again with my crazy schedule AND to find such a thoughtful and enthusiastic teacher as Erica! I was probably looking at achieving some combination of musical therapy and musical cognition with a deep yearning to get back to some core basics that as a younger musician I was in too much of a hurry to focus on ( I certainly got all of the above!) The priceless piece about Erica was her innate ability to connect in such a joyful way to wherever I was in my rather unpredictable musical path. She filled me with laughter, ideas and a new way to look at my instrument. Thank you so much for being my temporary guide - some day I look forward to coming back for more. If you are looking for a teacher - please consider starting here - you won't be disappointed!

Erica is wonderful! Very encouraging, always cheerful and pushes me to work hard without it feeling like work.

Prior to starting lessons with Erica, I was hesitant to pick up learning an instrument as an adult, but it has already been so rewarding, and I always leave my lessons feeling energized and excited!

Erica is amazing! My daughters have had weekly lessons with her for the better part of a year, and we feel so fortunate to have found her. My eight- and six-year-old daughters have very different personalities (one is insecure and prone to anxiety, and the other can stubborn and has difficulty focusing sometimes), and she works wonderfully with both of them. She is kind yet pushes them to their abilities. I don't know if I love her knowledge or calm demeanor more, they're both so invaluable when teaching kids! Her talent will also astound you. She is an excellent role model for my girls, and I cannot recommend her enough!

I have been taking Music Production lessons with Renato for about a year now. His vast professional knowledge of the recording process along side his immense talent as a drummer has really helped me hone my skills as a producer. He has challenged me to think outside the box and his style of teaching is perfect for me. He gives you a task and tells you "Make it happen!". After its done he goes through your process step by step, showing you how the quickest and most professional way of achieving a task. He recognizes talent and works hard to cultivate and encourage it. I am glad to have him as a mentor and teacher.

Renato M. is one of the best teachers I've ever had. I have learned so much from his extensive experience in the music business and the knowledge he has from producing, composing and playing music all his life.

Being in a room with Renato is guaranteed learning and inspiration. His infinite passion for music is contagious, he makes sure you are learning but most importantly that you love what you're learning about.

I've had many music teachers before in my life but no one as complete as Renato. He comes from a performance background and started producing music at an early age. He knows about arrangement, music history, composing, recording, mixing and mastering, HE IS JUST THE TEACHER YOU WANT TO HAVE!

I take lessons in Logic Pro from Renato and he is extremely helpful and patient. In particular he gets great sound using really basic plug ins. He has an extremely professional studio with some great gear but he showed me how to get my mix sounding great with the minimalist set up I have at home. Highly recommended!
