Renee has a Bachelor degree from the University of Dayton in Music Therapy with an emphasis on piano, voice and music theory. She has been teaching children from age five to adult for over 12 years. In 1995 I taught children from Kindergarten to 4th grade Music at Liberty Christain Cathedral. In 2000 she worked at The Dayton Academy teaching music classes to elementary school children. In 2006 she taught voice to a school choir at Nehemiah University. In 2007 she successfully taught voice and performance to a Senior Choir at Wesley Community Center. I am licensed as a PK-12 Music Educator, an active member of the Ohio Music Educator's Association and have performed with the Central State University Chorus, Mount Vernon Nazarene University Collegians Choir and Opera Workshop and most recently, the Columbus Symphony Chorus. I have an extensive knowledge of vocal techniques and Kodaly and Suzuki teaching methods. I am available to teach beginning and intermediate piano, beginning woodwinds, and voice at all levels.
