I started acting at a very young age and continued throughout my professional studies. My formal education comes from Portland State University where I completed the advanced acting in modern and classical texts, movement for actors, and received a Bachelor of Music in Voice. My Masters comes from the Boston Conservatory where I was trained in voice, acting and movement.
I approach acting from a semi-method approach. I think it is important to internalize the character you are portraying in order to express them outwardly. We will study texts, proper vocal production, and work on freeing your mind and body with movement.
I grew up surrounded by music. Throughout high school, I was involved with choir, band, and musical theatre. After graduation, I decided to pursue music professionally by attending Portland State University where I earned my Bachelor of Music in Voice. Since graduating, I have had the opportunity to perform with Opera Theater Oregon, Portland Summer Opera Workshop, and Opera in the Ozarks where I performed three main stage roles including Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods, Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi, and La Badessa in Suor Angelica, and had the extreme pleasure to perform a master class taught by Metropolitan opera singer, Latonia Moore. I now hold my Masters of Music in Opera Performance from the Boston Conservatory where I studied under the private instruction of Dr. Rebecca ...

Acting for theater takes a different approach than that of TV and film. We explore the differences together if I tutor you in the subject.
I am jack-of-all trades filmmaker from Portland, Oregon. I have worked in theater and in film for over 15 years. I have a BA in theater and MFA in Motion Picture & Television.
I spent 4 years after college performing and teaching acting in the Chicago-land area. Primarily my group and I would perform for the entire school in the morning and then spend time in a few different classes teaching throughout the rest of the day. Along with single performance/teaching days we held long term residencies with schools and adult special ed. groups.
I have a unique education and work history including Instructional Design, Education, Theater and Mathematics which allow me to be creative, logical, accurate and effective. I am a manager and team player. I enjoy working closely with others as well as overseeing projects in theater and the business world. I have worked with students from Pre-K through 12th as well as adults (including Special Education students) covering subjects such as Mathematics, Theater, Grammar, Reading Comprehension and more.
