TOYA N.

Dallas, TX

I have a Masters degree in Acting from the acclaimed Actors Studio Drama School in Manhattan, so I am well versed in most every acting technique; including Stanislavski, Strasberg, Meisner, Chekov, Hagen, Stella Adler, and beyond. I've taught acting to children, teens, and adults in the US and abroad since 2005 and my students are working! My main goal is to help you to develop your own set of tools for practicing the craft of acting, and to better understand your unique voice as an artist. Make sure to wear clothing you can move in during our sessions, and, most importantly, explore and just have fun!

About TOYA

I have taught acting to small children, teens, and adults in community, private, and collegiate settings. I taught acting at the legendary Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York City. My love of the arts has enabled me to study and perform in various cities throughout the US; including Los Angeles, where I studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, to Europe, Mexico, South America; then back to New York City, where I earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from the prestigious Actors Studio Drama School. I currently work professionally as an actor, singer, and TV and radio host. I've been fortunate enough to work in film, TV, theater, musical theater, hosting, commercials, improv, and voice-overs. I am also a vocally trained mezzo-soprano. Because I am ...

I have been teaching since 2008: Film courses, Acting courses and English Composition Writing courses. Currently I'm teaching in the Dallas County District (English Composition). Donald R.

Dallas, TX

Children and adults welcome. I provide acting coaching from ages 4-adult in acting for film, theatre, and techniques such as classical, Meisner, Method, and Stanislavsky.

About Donald

I have established myself as an accomplished actor and acting coach who has been teaching acting classes for over 10 years. As acting is an ongoing learning process, I audit the classes of the best coaches from NY to LA to bring those acting techniques to my students online as well as my in-studio classes. In addition to teaching online, I have taught in-studio classes at Kids International in Washington DC, Take 3 Talent and Product Management in NYC, and Page Parkes School of Acting in Dallas to name a few. My approach to acting covers the entire theme of "Show Business". The "Show" is represented by the skill training techniques involved in my training to give an actor the skills to be the best actor. The "Business" aspect reflects the more technical side of acting such as what ...

In this class the students will be learning the different types of acting, we will study -isms, different genres, and will perform short scenes. Pronunciation will also play a big role in this class being that is the most important thing when acting besides acting. There will be many monologues assigned to the students in order to show their progress.
