Rose R.

Tampa, FL

I have taught Acting for 12 years. From Musical Theatre, Commercials, Scene Study, Monologues, and Classical. I accommodate the student depending on what they are wanting to learn. I believe that teaching is meant to be fun and I work with each student's individual style.

About Rose

I graduated from the University of South Florida where I received my BA in Theatre performance & Communication with a minor in Dance. In 2011 I finished studying Music Recording at St. Petersburg College, where I focused on Singing/Songwriting. I trained at NYU with the Aquila acting company in classical theatre, and I also trained with TVI Acting studios in Los Angeles in Film and television.

My Music and Performance experience started when I was 6 singing in choir, school productions, and taking piano lessons. I continued on with group ensembles, musical theatre shows and later on
touring with the Spanish Lyric Theatre in Both English and Spanish in throughout Florida after college. I started working with various agencies in florida and became SAG eligible through working on a featured role as a dancer on the movie "From Justin to Kelly" filmed in Miami. Being part of the Actor's Studio at the University of South Florida created the foundation for me to then move to New York and study with the Aquila Classical Theatre company through NYU, Dance with the New Amsterdam Studio in am off-off Broadway dance production, and then move to LA to train with TVI Acting Studios. While In Los Angeles I signed with Avalon Artists Talent Agency and worked as an actress and model for various print jobs and commercials.

In 2007 I returned to Florida and spent the next few years working with various Talent Agencies on commercials, Industrials, print jobs, HSN projects, theatre shows, short films, and started to focus on Music, songwriting and recording. I returned to school and attended ST. Petersburg college MIRA Program (Music Industry Recording Arts) where I focused on Songwriting Performance and trained in voice, theory, songwriting, recording, and formed a duo called "The Rose and Zeb Duo." We Co-wrote together and recorded our first Demo Cd "Let Go" which was feature at the CD release event At the Yoga Village Studio in Clearwater, FL. We performed at local events throughout the area with our music.

Now I am continuing the process of Songwriting on my own for my next CD and developing other creative projects which I enjoy teaching others including art projects, cooking, baking, creating beauty products, and tutoring. I am quite diverse in the skills that I have obtained and I take a great interest in helping you as the artist develop your own style as well. I wish you luck in your journey!

I like the combination of relaxed and goal oriented. I like to get to know my students and learn about about expectations and goals they have for themselves. Then I set up a plan that will help them achieve their goals and get them closer to what they want from their lessons. I take into consideration their interest, style, and help them to find their unique learning style

When you first meet Tony you sense immediately his passion and love for music; this comes through in his teaching style and attitude. Our 2 daughters (ages 13 and 11) have been taking lessons from Tony for about 3 months and we are definitely seeing improvements in their abilities. He has a knack for challenging them without them really knowing that's what he's doing--he pushes (gently) on them to reach their potential. Our girls enjoy taking lessons from Tony and look forward to seeing him each week, they practice without being asked (most days) and look forward to learning more interesting and challenging music. I would absolutely recommend Tony as an instructor for children or adults.

Tony has been teaching my 8 year old grand-daughter, Nevea, for about 6 months. Tony knows how to effectively teach younger children and has the patience needed to know the correct learning pace that each student can deal with. Nevea loves it when Tony will occasionally accompany her with the guitar. I sit in on most of the lessons and enjoy listening to the interaction between teacher and student.
I would recommend Tony as a teacher for students of any age.

Tony is great! He helped expand my range and over come the enormous amount of stage fright I battled for years in just a small amount of time. His lessons helped establish my music on a more professional level and broadened my picture of the music industry. I wouldn't recommend anybody else! He is very motivating and inspirational, and you will definitely grow through his lessons.

Natasha W.

Clearwater, FL

I have written, produced, directed and starred in over 11 stage productions throughout the United states. I have been acting for over 20 years and still have a heavy passion for it. I love teaching others how to bring characters to life and pushing them to expand and reach levels that they have no idea they are capable of. Working with me will be fun, challenging, hard work and huge reward. Let's grow together!

About Natasha

My name is Natasha and I am a certified tutor in reading, math, writing, language and grammar just to name a few subjects. I enjoy helping and watching children gain confidence in areas that were once a challenge. I make learning fun and comprehensive, but most of all memorable. I promise you won't be disappointed.
I also enjoy giving acting lessons because it broadens your versatility and hones in on skills that are sometimes suppressed. Acting pushes you to think, perform, project, engage and entertain and I absolutely love it and you will too.

Thanks!!

Stephen D.

Saint Petersburg, FL

Most of my training was done by a Stanislavsky purist, and my own acting philosophy generally conforms to that. I've also had experience with Meisnerian technique, but don't generally conform to that as much. For me, acting is all about understanding and relating to your character and their worldview, almost as though they were a person you were learning to impersonate. Provided the playwright has done his job, they will be detailed enough for this to happen.

About Stephen

My name is Stephen Paul Dieter, and I have a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Eckerd College. I'm not going to lie, I'm very new to the idea of teaching my craft; I have done it before, but only as an assistant, so I don't have a great deal of experience. I have studied under some great people though, and I like to think that I have a good grasp on the kind of mentality it takes to perform well. I love teaching acting; dialoguing with people, hashing out motivation and acting choices, showing them the wonders that come with walking in someone else's shoes for a while. If you've ever wondered w
hat it's like to act, I can help show you. Believe me when I say, anyone can act, because everybody already does. If you're already a colleague, perhaps I can provide you with a fresh eye, or a new perspective on your current work. I look forward to meeting all of you.

I have no judgment of any kind, we are all people pursuing arts and will not push your comfortability.
